What are you playing right now?

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
I got Doom Eternal Deluxe Edition on 75% off and completed it on Ultra-Violence last week. I finished the core game in 2021 when I pirated it but it was on Hurt me Plenty, ever since I played FPS with Quake and Halo Infinite since 2023, been playing things on hard difficulty to prevent myself from being DSP.

On UAC Atlantica but haven't finished the level yet, work is getting in the way and I need more rest than vidya.

Started KOTOR2 for the first time in a decade. Was inspired after hearing that Avellone is working on a new RPG. The tutorial level is a slog, but I'm about to wrap it up and get to the meat of the game.

Also been playing Battlefront 2 off and on since the sale on Steam last weekend. I'm really ambivalent towards multiplayer FPS games but something about fighting big matches on the surface of Hoth really scratches an itch.

It's just a shame that EA are miserable kikes who insist on ruining everything. Whatever they decide to do since the resurgence in activity (BF3, new seasonal content, etc) it's a guarantee that it's going to suck.

Far Cry 3!

It ran like shit on Windows 10 and would stutter really bad/crash to desktop all the time no matter what I did but on Linux it actually functions so I can complete the game.
FC3 came out in the era where most major Companies didn't give a fuck about PC Ports, still its inexcusable and Ubisoft should fix it
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga... I finished it but I had to push myself through it.
I actually just started Episode V in that, I will play through the rest of the original and the Prequels, but if im being honest I couldnt be half-assed to play the Sequels, I guess my unhealthy hatred for the sequel trilogy will make it unfinished

I am halfway through my second play through of EarthBound/Mother 2. The game isn’t some genius masterpiece like pretentious faggots online like to espouse but I still really love it. It simply is a fun, cute game. Also a bit of katamari, cause I love katamari.

Still working my way through my first playthrough of Stellar Blade on steam. Waiting to get more buff before I attempt to take on Scarlet and Mann. Also playing Death Stranding 2 while listening to random shit since it's a podcast game when a cutscene isn't playing.

The first ten hours were great, I was a psychic kid roaming the ‘90s Midwest. Then the game decided I needed to wander through endless jungles and seas for reasons.

Playing Dinkum atm i recently came out of early access. It's a cute Australian themed farming sim eerily close to Animal Crossing but the old AC's really addictive.

Took advantage of the Steam sale and bought volumes I-III of Il-2 Flying Circus. Trying to decide if it's really any better than Rise of Flight.

I remembered that Titanic: Honor and Glory is a thing so I've been checking that out.

Other than that I've been playing Saints Row 2 and Sonic Unleashed Recompiled.

Recently bought a slim-PS3, jailbroke it and added CFW, fixed my old PS3 controller, and now I'm playing a bunch older games. Some games that I'm playing now are Battlefield: Bad Company, Dead to Rights: Retribution, and Uncharted
Another jailbroken PS3 user? I did exactly that a month ago along with recently adding an SSD for more storage and other benefits. It's crazy to think that i can boot majority of Seventh Gen games save for the 360 exclusives on just a USB stick alone.

Finished Return to Moria. There are some things I would change but overall a pretty fun game. I'm horrible at navigation and the map system was a little wierd to get used to. Not being able to see food or gear stats was strange and just having to guess, other than them being tiered. It does not feel like there is much segregation between the biomes/acts/phases of the story. One of the things I always loved about Diablo 2 was moving to a new very distinct act. Something that does not really seem to be the case for any of the followup Diablo series. Valheim Did this really well. Killing a major boss at the end and having to sail to a new extremely visually distinct biome. The biomes in Moria are visually distinct sort of but it feels like you just sort of always wander into the next one.
I think I've run out of survival games to play through and will end up playing Grounded or trying Icarus again

haven't been able to play that much because work, so the simple solution is playing simple arcade games
the phone port of crazy taxi is good enough, better than I've expected, it's even better that I didnt have to pay for it since sega again killed another one of their preservation programs, at least they gave it all away for free
but still, Fuck You Sega for nuking the multiplayer part of Virtua Tennis, not even the bluetooth connection was spared
