What are you playing right now?

I tried to play Alice again with my botched controller, since Madness Returns came with a dl code for it. Even setting sensitivity setting all the way low, Alice won't stop fucking walking backwards, which makes crossing the flying books in the Skool next to impossible.

I mean, I know she's kind of emo, but this is ridiculous.

Played more Earthbound. I'm at Happy Happy Village right now and having a hard time staying alive because I don't have a lot of room in my bag for Hamburgers because it's packed with the items that I need to progress the game. *sigh*

Also picked up DKC Returns 3D. It was the only Club Nintendo reward that I remotely wanted and didn't already have, even though I have the Wii version. At least I have another game to play during my lunch breaks.

Well I was playing through Persona 3 FES, but then my 5 year old PS3 almost literally sputtered and died on me.

Thankfully, my dad has a newer PS3 that he bought a while ago to play that one guitar game and never used it again afterwards. I won't be able to play my PS2 games, but most of my library consists of downloads anyway. So I guess it's not a total loss. Plus I was only about three hours into P3, so I should be able to get back to where I was eventually.

Then I remembered I can download PS1 games I already bought via the PS3 on the VITA. So now I re-downloaded Klonoa and Final Fantasy IX and am currently playing the former.

Did you own a digital copy of Persona 3 FES?

Because digital PS2 games will work on later PS3 models. I have the PS3 Super Slim myself (this one http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/9fgHS8SzB9Q/maxresdefault.jpg) and I've played a great deal of digital PS2 games on it. You just cannot play physical PS2 games with it.

Oh yeah, I know. I had a digital copy and just got back to where I was.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to play with my physical copies of Nocturne and the DDS games. :/ Ah well, they're all downloadable as well.

I keep trying to play Deadliest Premonition, but it's BSOD'd my computer twice.

I also played LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for about four hours today. I also found out that you can jack cars in free-roam then run people down in the street, literally making it Grand Theft Auto for kids.

Do you mean Deadly Premonition?

I have been playing a lot of HARDtime (go to @BALLZ-BROKEN comment about it). I made a Jace character in it. Still trying to figure out how to get the screenshots of that playthrough.

I will also play The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 4 tomorrow.

Finally got this conversion working after about 3 hours of hair pulling.

God, I realize how old I am when I feel nostalgic over this.

Fatal Frame 3. The game has a really stupid mechanic that starts in one of the later chapters - you basically have to find these candles that ward off evil energy. When they burn out, the main antagonist ghost has a high probability of appearing, and she will relentlessly pursue your ass until you either die or manage to find another candle. Shit sucks.
That's on my backlog right now after I had just finished the first two plus Silent Hill 2 and 3. I read about the candle thing and I'm not looking forward to that. I hope when Fatal Frame 5 gets released, they will realize that challenging does not mean unfair.

Heh, looks like someone does not have a good grasp of the English language, don't you agree, Zach?
"F. K." in the coffee! It never fails.

Aaaaaand, that was the third time that Deadly Premonition crashed my computer. That's grounds for an uninstalling. Back to Broforce for me.

The candles burn out really fast too, so if you waste a lot of time running around not knowing where the fuck you're supposed to go (like I do), you may as well quit and reload. I also forgot to mention that the screen goes monochrome and staticy. In spite of this, though, I still consider 1 to be harder.

Let's hope that 5 will even have a US release. 4 looked pretty creepy; it's a shame.

Just downloaded and started playing the remake of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee on the PS4.

As much as I love the original, I do really appreciate the more streamlined controls in this version. Also dat level of detail.

I'm a little late on the party but I managed to pick up LA Noire after it had been on my list ever since it released.

So far I really like the attention to detail (especially with the names of characters and the actors portraying them) and the technology behind the motion capture is really extraordinary. Although the game shares similar problems I had with Pheonix Wright where it's not always obvious what responses the player is supposed to use even if you are aware of the answer.

Like I'll use an example. I knew one character was lying and I even had a piece of evidence I thought would apply to it, but the game was scripted so that assuming he told the truth was the only correct answer.

It's not a problem exclusive to LA Noire and I think one that would be really hard to prevent without completely overhauling the script for every playtester. But it's still something that kinda nags at me in these conversation based games.

The gameplay also reminded me oddly enough of the PS2 game the Getaway (Which also has a police officer as a playable character coincidentally). Moreso how it takes place in an open world but it really only serves to take the player from A to B. While there are minor collectables and sidequests, most of them are locked off to you until you get to certain stages of the game. And there's a specific mode in the game called "Streets of LA" That turns off the plot and allows you to just explore. Which was similar to The Getaway's "Free Roam" mode.

Been playing a VN lately called "don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story". Been doing some modding on it to make it more interesting.

Red Alert 2. So much memories. Love everything about this game especially you can use engineers to capture enemy buildings. :3

I installed the conversion pack for Battlefront 2. It fixed pretty much every gripe I had about the games content.

Finally finished the flight school in San Andreas. Never again would I want to do that.

I played Deadly Premonition for a good eight hours today. I found a fix for the constant BSODs (just run it in compatibility for Windows 98).
