What are you playing right now?

Started a blind run of Yakuza Kiwami after two playthroughs of 0 this past year. There are some gameplay-specific things I miss about the latter, but there are also a ton of things I think Kiwami does better, namely the skill/EXP system. Hoping to play through Kiwami 2 next time it's on sale.

Still playing The Binding of Isaac: Repentance modded (currently trying out the Epiphany mod), and working through some of the Resident Evil games I bought a few weeks ago from Humble Bundle. Almost finished with Resident 6's Jake/Sherry scenario.

Finishing up Soul Hackers 2 and man does it become tedious towards the end if you are trying to do side content. You know the dungeon gimmick where a bunch of teleportation spots are set up and you have to find the right path but if you choose wrong your sent back and have to start over? Soul Hackers 2 has at least 10 stages with that gimmick.

It isn't really hard but each stage has missions so if you don't want to miss the one collectable you need get ready to go through every teleporter and make sure you remember which ones you already hit because the game will not be keeping track. Overall it isn't a terrible game maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 worth it on sale if you think it looks interesting but deciding to repeat this gimmick not a good choice.

Started up Fallout: New Vegas for the umpteenth time playing a pure melee/unarmed build - something I've never done before. Surprisingly very fun and makes the game ridiculous easy at a certain point. Honestly, it makes it feel somewhat fresh despite playing it so many times. Since I've never done melee-focused builds in Fallout before I'm probably going to reinstall all of them and give it a shot in FO1, FO2, and FO4.

Finally decided to check out the Calamity mod for Terraria since 2.0 finally release and it's pretty good. Doing a normal Summoner run and, besides the lack of any new whips, it's pretty good. Might try out the mod specific class after my current playthrough on a higher difficulity.

Decided to test PCSX2 to see if it would run on my kinda-crappy computer since i heard PCSX2 has improved from what it used to be, and to my surprise it does (as long as I use OpenGL Software Emulation), and I can even record footage without it lagging.

I've only been testing the DDR games, starting with DDRMAX. FInally excited about playing the Japanese versions since they are complete opposites of the US versions (i.e. better, since they are straight-up ports rather than "catch-ups" minus Festival and Str!ke). Only thing that sucks is unlocking the hidden songs, because even on Japan DDRMAX it's 200 plays to unlock CANDY*. At least I don't have to do 500 for one fucking exclusive like i have to with the US version.

Cities:Skylines, now that I have a laptop that doesn't shit the bed with anything made after 2012.

It's clearly bugman propaganda, but addicting. And its in-game Twitter expy accurately depicts Twitter's banality.

Neo scavenger extended. Neo scavenger, but extended.

It's essentially a mod that makes it more autistic and adds more content. Quite impressed by it, actually. Finally made it to the DMC after four failed characters.

Still chugging along in Final Fantasy XI. Hit 99 on a few jobs (WAR, GEO, & WHM) and working on THF and SMN. Joined a random linkshell (guild) that is actually pretty good and has a nice mix of newfags like myself and oldfags willing to help out newcomers.

Started Ultrakill. Killed the Swordsman by throwing three coins in the air and ricocheting a shot off them while sliding away. Already in love.

Epiphany is pretty awesome. Gonna throw this out - andromeda (unique character mod)
also I'm sure youve checked out fiend folio. I'm just scratching the surface and I really enjoy it so far.

I'm doing mods sequentially, so once I've gotten all the checkmarks for the Tarnished characters I'll add Fiend Folio for all the new monsters and items. I watch Nyantuber semi-regularly, so seeing Tainted Andromeda's gameplay was interesting with shooting from the centre of the room.
