What are you playing right now?

Is homefront the revolution as bad as what were saying it was or it just an average comfy shooter?
I beat it and liked it for what it was. It was a very mediocre shooter with a few things of interest. I'll admit I have a high tolerance for meh games and love a good Freedom Fighters like setting. One thing that bugged me was a lot of the side objectives were take pictures of X or kill this enemy type this way X number of times. I'd have preferred it if was assassination missions Far Cry style where they spawn a specific encounter for you. I think it is a fine game for 10 to 15 bucks. I hope they try to make another that won't get stuck in development hell.

Had fun playing the 10 hour trial for Mass Effect Andromeda. Can't wait for the full release.

Yeah, the price point is typically what bugs me about this kind of sub-genre of 'average' games.

If you're into that kind of thing I picked up inversion on the ps3 for $15. It's a gears of war knock-off with gravity control that nobody ever mentions. I likewise kind of dig these 'AA' titles you can just fuck around in.

Out There. It's an iOS/Android game but despite that, a fairly non-casual game, a space exploration/survival game with heavy resource management elements, procedurally generated content, and permadeath that occurs pretty frequently. It's also had a number of substantial updates since its initial release without any additional attempt to milk money from the players, which is always nice.

Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition was available for $5 on GOG.com. Gonna play that next. What mods should I install? (Will definitely be getting the one to skip the Fade sequence. Holy fuck I hated that part.)

I installed Halo Custom Edition last night and found this map ("bigass"), complete with custom weapons and assault rifle skin.

I've been in a revisiting mood so I've been swapping between Resident Evil Deadly Silence and Spyro 2.

Also been playing a bit of Breath of the Wild. Just been wanting to take my time in playing through that one.

I finished Firewatch. Does that make me an SJW?

Juggling with Breath of the Wild and FF XIV, with the latter receiving a lot more attention because I've been binging Automata and had to set up my WiiU again.

Factorio. Because I have autism.

Many a day goes by where I say "I'm going to be productive!" and it's 8 hours later and at least I have red cards.

Last few days has been spent on HITMAN. Much as I finished off the first season of episodes, the various methods of taking down a target have been rather fun. Plus it's fun hitting a person with a can of spaghetti or soda, especially if the physics causes them to fly across the room (as one embassy guard learned when he saw me screwing around with a soda can.)

I finally finished Quake after years of playing it.
I didn't expect this from the source port I was using though.

Started up Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon on GBA. Also playing bits of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin on DS, and some Daytona USA on Saturn.

Still playing BotW in bursts with my brother, too. Good shit.

If the good lord didn't want my to put off all my responsibilities, repeatedly break my already fucked circadian sleep rhythm, contract carpal tunnel, and pore over wikis and languish over various moral choices for different factions, then he wouldn't have made Fallout: New Vegas as entertaining as it is.

I'm being good for once and not abusing godmode to haul junk to town so I can earn achievements. Fuck Caesar's Legion though, I don't WANNA rep their faction. No matter how much my friend compliments their fancy hats.

Been replaying professor layton and super Mario 64.
Also playing some darkest dungeon as well.

Ace of Seafood.

Where I was but once a humble laser firing sardine I am now a noticeably stronger Lionfish. Accompanied by two salmon and a barracuda. One day I will breed a mighty battleship!

Currently going though Fire Emblem The Blazing Sword on my Wii U. I am enjoying quite a lot, The cast of Characters are a charming bunch I love to high heaven and the game play is pretty good too. It has aged pretty well and I would total recommended it to anyone looking for a good RPG. Also giving Mario Sports a go and it ok so only really played tennis and baseball.

This whole Mass Effect Andromeda fiasco made me nostalgic for the original Mass Effect. Got it on Steam and I still get chills whenever Saren comes on screen.

Also downloaded the original Starcraft since it's free starting today. I saw someone at the place I worked at play it on his laptop and was thinking about how I kinda want to try it at some point. Good thing I decided to wait before getting it.

EDIT: Just beaten the third mission in the first campaign. Goddamn. So THAT'S what the infamous "zerg rush" is.

I got the new Ghost Recon, rather skeptical after Future Soldier being so okay it's average and forgettable aside from the fact that it didn't feel like a Ghost Recon game after I waited around four or five years for it. So when they announced Wildlands as an open-world Ghost Recon, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I enjoy open world games and Tom Clancy games, but I was rather worried that they wouldn't mix very well. Turns out, they actually do, since it's based more on counterinsurgency than the standard operation. I've been enjoying it quite a bit despite not having anyone to play it with, which is where they say the most fun of the game is.

Here and there, I'll pick up my 3DS and play the "new" PMD game, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon while I pop in my headphones and listen to something that's probably the polar opposite to a game about friendship. I seem to have an issue playing handheld games consistently since around four or five years ago.
