What are you playing right now?

I got the new Ghost Recon, rather skeptical after Future Soldier being so okay it's average and forgettable aside from the fact that it didn't feel like a Ghost Recon game after I waited around four or five years for it. So when they announced Wildlands as an open-world Ghost Recon, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, I enjoy open world games and Tom Clancy games, but I was rather worried that they wouldn't mix very well. Turns out, they actually do, since it's based more on counterinsurgency than the standard operation. I've been enjoying it quite a bit despite not having anyone to play it with, which is where they say the most fun of the game is.

Here and there, I'll pick up my 3DS and play the "new" PMD game, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon while I pop in my headphones and listen to something that's probably the polar opposite to a game about friendship. I seem to have an issue playing handheld games consistently since around four or five years ago.

Yeah, the new Ghost Recon is a lot of fun, single and co-op are great, the community is actually pretty fun in PUGs, since it's mostly guys wanting to play GTA with better shooting mechanics

Interesting. I'm always nervous about playing coop with people I don't know. I wish I had friends to play it with, so this means I've gotta either leave my comfort zone, or be forever alone.

I feel ya, I much prefer playing with the same few friends I play everything else with, but my experience in PUGs has been chaotic yet fun

Very accurate

Wind Waker HD. Freaking love it. I don't even need to cheat to beat the dungeons, which is a breath of fresh air for me. Ocarina of Time's Water Temple put me off Zelda for like a decade.

Just beaten the Terran campaign in the original Starcraft. Now I'm playing the Zerg campaign. So far, I'm liking how they operate gameplay wise. Music's cool too.

Playing the new maps in Battlefield 1.

So far been pretty amazing

Far Cry Primal. Yes, it has the Ubisoft formula down like nothing else, but I really like the setting and having your pet bear is just awesome.

What did you think of far cry 4?

All in all I liked it, loved Pagan. The gameplay was fine for the first few hours, but it drags on way too long. At the end I just rushed through to see the ending. I'll probably forget about the game in a few months - the same happened with 3, the same will probably happen with Primal. That's the fate of AAA Ubisoft games.

I think the gameplay in 3 was more primitive but the story was better. I couldn't get into Pagan as a villain for some reason.

Also playing Until Dawn still, which only has the Obscure franchise as its equal in emphasizing dumb teen horror tropes.

Been doing a last hurrah with Splatoon on the Wii U after not playing it for a while. And I'm getting my ass kicked. Seems like the only players left are the ones who are really good, or I just really suck after a layoff. Or both. I've been busted from a "B" to a "C+" with no end to the fail in sight. (FWIW, I was ranked as high as "A-" at one point. For about five minutes...but I did get there.) On the bright side, Splatoon 2 was my main reason for even looking at a Switch. This much fail and rage makes me much less likely to shell out the money. Especially with the prospect of paid on-line.

For no reason I can explain, I also started messing around with Minecraft for Windows 10, playing Survival. It seems to combine the worst elements of the normal PC version with the worst elements of Pocket Edition. But for some reason I keep plugging away, doing all the boring shit you do in Minecraft.

Recently installed StarDew Valley on my laptop. After a few hours I don't get the appeal of this game at all. I'm not finding it cute, quirky, or whatever. More like tedious.

I've been possessed by MS-DOS nostalgia. I'm currently playing Tyrian 2000, Tubular Worlds, Abuse, Commander Keen: Goodbye Galaxy and Bio Menace, they're perfect for short bursts of gaming. I might take a swing at Shadow Warrior and Blood later.

Gave Tales of Berseria a try. Surprisingly great flow of gameplay, nice battle system, interesting exploration, at least engaging story and characters, great voice acting and of course, holy fanservice Batman! All in all it is worth a try by anyone even mildly interested in JARPGs.

Been playing GTA: San Andreas lately. Didn't want to redo all the lost progress so I fetched out some old save files from another hard drive. Redoing the flying school isn't as hard as I thought as long as I used a controller though they didn't allow some additional controls to mapped out on to it such as the Hydra.

There was recently a sale that included pretty much all of Idea Factory's games on Steam, so I'm starting to work my way through the Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth games. Thus far, not bad.

I have been playing battlerite lately and I'm surprised that there is not that many toxic players and some are even willing to listen your tactic if things aren't going that well. This has been really pleasant experience.
