What are you playing right now?

Skyrim: Special Edition. I haven't done a proper playthrough in years, I just used to pick up my old save and dick around now and again. I'm finding that the game is a lot better with Dawnguard installed as access to Crossbows and Serana as a companion makes early dragon attacks less of an annoyance.
Serena is literally the worst character ever and the fact that she's forced on you makes me hate Dawnguard.

I'm playing Quake. It's not nearly as good as Doom.

She's a good distraction though, and a better companion than a housecarl.

I put so many hours in to that game but kind of ended up ruining it for myself by spending ages crafting a bow that could one shot pretty much every single thing in the game, including dragons. There was no sense of danger left after that. Think I abandoned it after about 110 hours, with very little of the main story line done.

Last time I did a play through I focused on illusion magic, it made the fights really cheap. Stupid shit like getting stealth criticals on dragons, kind of funny though.

Ive really been into the Puyo Tetris game. Its a really good game for just killing time every now and then, doctors office, bus rides, that sort of thing. Just filling dead air-- but it's also really addictive. It's a game that fucks you and makes you like it. It forces you to learn and then you've learned it before you even know what's happening. It's also pretty creative for being yet another Tetris game, it has a feature where you can reserve one Tetris piece or swap it out which is cool.

It has a few different modes, too, and they're all pretty fun. I hacked my 3Ds and got the Japanese version so it's all "uguuuu~!" and samurai noises, but it's a good game for playing in bursts without having to really completely commit.

Meadow. I't s a simple little MMORPG game where you play as an animal in a stylized world, collecting flowers and blowing up obelisks to unlock skins, other species and emotes. The interesting thing is that there's no group chat; you rely on emoticons and symbols to communicate. There's a strong sense of kinship amongst the odd packs you travel with.

It's a free weekend for Overwatch so I'm finally going to try it. Otherwise I've been playing tons of puzzle type of games, I'm in a mood where I really need to zone out and they help.

Just finished Mechwarrior 3. It's one of my favs. Unfortunately my original copy is buried in storage someplace, so I had to borrow someone else's. His copy didn't have the ending cinema. I just beat the game and wanted to show my best friend this, and damn it... it just cut to the main menu. Not happy about that.
If you like mech sims, I highly recommend this and it's expansion pack. It's old, but damn good. If you get me talking about it, I even have some personal challenges you can do with it.

I'm messing around with the first Wild Arms game. I never played it before, and my best friend has basically forgotten most of it over the past couple decades, so we're essentially doing a blind run.
So...has anyone else played it, and does the lack of a real Speed or Agility stat piss anyone else off?

I successfully stayed away from most games meant to be streamer bait. Then I caught some gameplay of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (probably not spelled right...). For some reason the game has grabbed hold of me and I can't stop playing. It's quick to get into, the matches last at most 30 minutes and it's easy to start again or quit without worrying about "levels" or whatever weird meta strategy takes hold of the community. It's a ton of fun and I'd recommend people pick it up even if you'd normally stay away from flavor of the month style games.

Endless Space 2: it is a very slick sci-fi 4X game that I think doesn't get the attention it deserves. It definately fixed a lot of the jankiness of the 1st one. Just wish I didn't suck at it

I've gotten back into Dragon's Dogma.

Well, sort of. I can't decide whether I want to go ranged/mage and I like to minmax stats so mixing won't do.

You have one character slot though, I don't even...

Could always go magic archer. That class is very powerful on Bitterblack Isle.

I heard that too, but I dunno if I want to.

Levelling as sorc will give me all the magic I need in return for making me anemic. Then again, the whole problem with this is if it goes wrong I'll need to restart all over...

A friend gifted me Player Unknown's battlegrounds, it's actually super fun albeit a little janky at times. It really gets you in to it, my wife was watching me play while the kid was napping and she was shouting spotting directions to me

Hollow Knight. It's quite fun, with cute character designs and gorgeous backgrounds. Map/checkpoint system is quite interesting.

I don't know, I never really tried to minmax when I played and don't think it matters too much unless you are planning to hit the level cap of 200. But I never touched any of the magic classes so I can't say how it will effect you.

I've since changed my mind and restarted with the plan to become THE STRONGEST.

And since I can change vocations (and thus level up without worry) I'm free to explore, with my trusty Pawn BRAN BLESSED (damned character limits). I've already accidental'd upon two chimerae, as I'm deliberately going opposite to the direction the game wants.

Since I refuse to delete my one character I sometimes play speedrun mode to make new characters since they don't get saved and have found out you can go anywhere on the map except the city from the start of the game as long as you know how to circumvent the roadblocks. I always recommend playing the story till you have access to Gran Soren and then start screwing around. My first playthrough as soon as I got to the city I took an escort mission to bring someone to the Greatwall on the far side of the map. Several Chimeras, Cyclopes, Bandits, Hobglobins, Boulders and Ghosts later I made by the skin of my teeth.

Damn thinking about it makes me want to play it again but I've done everything in that game and covered every square inch of the map. Doesn't help that I played the game enough times that I've built a pretty solid coverage of fast travel points. I really wish they'd make a sequel.

Or release Online elsewhere maybe.

I'm not sure if modding might help you, I'm uncertain how large the community is.
