What are you playing right now?

Monster Hunter Stories has been really enjoyable even as someone who has never played a Monster Hunter title before in my life (though i know it's vastly different from main MH titles). it's really obviously aimed at young kids story-wise but the pet raising simulator and RPG turn-based system aspects give it a broader appeal too. even the story is pretty charming despite being very simple and childish, honestly.

i just beat the main story last week, so now i'm slowly working on post-game stuff but mainly trying to understand the competitive meta. unfortunately the competitive scene seems to be a little dead, so it's mostly just making test builds for different monsters myself and seeing what works and what doesn't against in-game enemies for now.

i didn't even know the game existed until it was released in English a few weeks ago, and sales don't seem to be very impressive, so i'm not exactly holding my breath for a sequel. i'll definitely be preordering right away if one ever gets announced though.

I'm playing Divinity Original Sin 2.

I like the Pet Pal skill.

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I should also probably go back and finish the main quest in Morrowind at some point.

Quantum break again since I got it cheap.

Playing it a second time through, I'm still having just as fun as the first time.
I really wanted that game, bruh, I'm kind of a third person shooter fan & it looked interesting but it was only on xbox 1.

I got a copy of Drakengard today. Thought it was boring back when I was a teenager and never played far. Still think the combat is boring (minus the dragon bits), but I now know the value of grinding. Plus sometimes you just want that power fantasy, even if the game calls you out on it.
I'll warn you right now, ending E is a bitch to complete, and once you do...depending on how you take things, it's either a giant middle finger or a masterful bit of trolling.

And those multiple endings too. Brings back great memories. Which is your favourite, if you can remember?

Been playing Trove as of late. It's been pretty fun so far. Neon Ninja has been my fav melee so far, and I'm enjoying the gunslinger as my ranged class.

KOTOR 2 with the restoring mod.
Without the mod, the game is halffinshed, but with the mod it is a whole other story.
This may be the best written star wars game out there. The dialog, the characters and many more is so good. I am now at the HK50 factory at the end of the game. If the game had been finished, it would have been up there with the greatest Star Wars games of all time.

i'm all about tekken 7, and baby it's all about me. my fighting game experience comes down to playing smash bros and SF3 alpha with friends. haven't been much of a fighting game kind of guy, but i'm loving it. if anyone knows the secret of king, if you could tell me the secrets i it would be appreciated

I'm playing Dead Cells right now and it's a lot of fun, kinda like a blend of Dark Souls and Hyper Light Drifter. I just got an xbox controller after putting it off for years and now I feel dumb because it's the best gaming decision I ever made.

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun - I feel ashamed comparing my completion time to the speed running achievements. Asides from a few issues with the camera, the gameplay is solid and feels rewarding with a fantastic atmosphere from the sound to the graphic style that make sneaking past pixels a joy.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Basically grew up on isometrics RPGs like Planescape and Baldurs Gate and the dearth during the mid 2000s to early 2010s was painful, but the first Divinity: Original Sin, Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, Wasteland 2, Shadowrun and now this excellent game is making my heart sing.

Not really a game but Im going through Picross S on the Switch. Love me some puzzle games which is ironic because Im fucking retarded.
I want them to make a new Pushmo but I think they feel like they've run that gimmick dry. But that was a damn good puzzle game.

Im dying waiting for Mario Odyssey. I suck at cooperative games like team shooters and fighting games, so I skipped ARMS (I got it and liked it but I rarely play it now) and Splatoon (fuck autocorrect) , and while I like tactics games I wasn't too pumped for the Rabbids game. Im more into like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics, something about the overwrought, played-out, knights-and-magic-and-political-drama does it for me I guess. Advance Wars is the only non-fantasy tactic game Ive liked, even then it was kinda silly. Something about Mario (and all these other iconic merchandise characters) in a tactics game seemed a little bit TOO self aware, for me, I didn't think Id be able to get into it.

I'm loving Persona 2: Innocent Sin right now. I didn't know IS had multiple Contact options for each character, but, like EP, when you pick multiple characters, you only get the single option. I'm having fun trying to make demons interested/happy! But sometimes things go south when they start asking questions. Good thing I'm doing this on an emulator so I can save state... >_>
