What are you playing right now?

Escape from Tarkov. I got a beta test key for free and this game has surpassed all expectations I had for it. It looks great, already plays well, and the weapon modding system is the best I've seen in any game ever.

Nier Automata. It's been a while since I was so much in love with a game. Fun gameplay, good story, beautiful soundtrack and a well designed main character.

Grand Theft Auto IV. Being my first GTA game, I figured that I should give it another go since its 10th anniversary is coming up. That, and I've been wanting to play through some GTA games again for a while.

Just made it to chapter 9 of Evil Within, and for a game that's been panned pretty hard by a lot of people I know I actually enjoy it quite a bit so far tbh

The arcade Dungeons and Dragons games. Got them off the PSN after seeing ProJared's review of them. They're pretty fun arcade beat'em ups, though very cheap with it's attacks. It just felt like it quickly became a would-be money pit, but damn if it didn't feel good to take out the Red Dragon.
Sounds alot like the game I just started playing. Dragons Crown (PS3). It's a beat em up crossed with role-playing. And the art style is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen on this system.

This really is one of those old beat 'em ups where you need at least 2 people, also the elf (in true DnD fashion) only really becomes good when she gets to higher levels with her magic. It's short, but like the guy says the different routes give it replayability. I've played through Tower of Doom a couple of times already trying to achieve all of the challenges.

I was lucky enough to have the chance to play this year's ago. It was on the Sega Saturn. However the only version of this game made was only in Japan. But damn was it fun as all heck.

AC Origins. This thing is fucking god-tier compared to Unity and Syndicate.

Do you not miss this?

Pokemon Leaf Green, trying to copy my initial Fire Red run.

Encounter rates are different, so it took me hours to get an effective Nidoran, plus 'm overlevelled.

I started playing Warframe again because I'm a degenerate scumfuck. I found out about https://warframe.market so now the new meta is to try to speculate on prices and collect platinum (paid currency).

I haven't touched the game since 2013. Played for around 3 months then stopped. Do you think it would be difficult to get back into it now?

I'd imagine there's an overwhelming amount of content compared to when I was playing.

Yeah there's the quests and new mechanics. None of it is super great. The biggest changes is they added operator mode which is a gimmick that's rarely used outside of specific enemies that require void damage. Replaced their old fusion system with endo, which I think is a nice streamlining. Added archwings which no one likes and the missions are mostly unimportant. Pet companions which are mostly gimmicky sentinel alternatives. The me-too-open-world Destiny map Plains of Eidolon. For the combat Rivens and Focus are actually important new features.

The end-game is still fundamentally a collect-a-thon of resources, prime parts and limited event mods.

Playing KOTOR 1 with a mod that rebalances the game a bit and a mod that skips Taris.

It's another one of those games where you appreciate it a lot more than you did on the first playthrough.

Bio-Menace. I used to have a copy of the first episode about 20 years ago, and I played the hell out of it as a kid. Just beat that again for the first time in decades and now I'm tackling the other two episodes though I never played. I'm in for a bit of a treat. Thank you GOG for this chance, and for free to boot!
