The engine they use for the Titanfall games is Valve's own Source engine.started plating titanfall 2. its pretty damn good. hard to think its a EA game.
I'm playing BF5 for the first time, this game feels way so underwhelming compared to BF1, which I immensely enjoyed a lot.Played a shit load of Battlefield 1 and 4 to reach the highest rank and get all achievements for all of 2019. Now I am paying people to bring my emblems to life on etsy.
Yea it sucked more that that even CAME out. I played it and beat it since I stuck out the issues with her intertactive and wished i hadnt.Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem.

To add a bit more to the story : They had decided for some reason to drop their simple game format and go to Unity engine when things feel through, Nancy Drew was never an open world game it was point and click so it makes it feel even odder now playing it.
Check out Carol Reed Mysteries if you like nancy drew games its indie games that are simple fast and kinda remind me of how nancy drew was in the past.
Shadows at water's edge if its the one i'm thinking of with the robo cat also the later haunted mansion one. I did not like that dossier series they tried.Thanks. And yeah, the unity engine sucks. Especially since the navigation is jerky and buggy and slow. There is no room for an "open world" without fluid movement. This isn't 2005.
I'll check them out! What are your faves of both series. For Nancy Drew I like Shadow at the Water's Edge, Deadly Device, Silent Spy, Ghost Dogs, and Phantom of Venice.
I was pretty disappointed with it, too. It felt too short for me, and too dialogue heavy. The only remotely interesting mini-game (mixing herbs in Lauren's shop)? Completely optional. I hated doing the ghost hunting puzzle in the graveyard, when you take control of the Hardy brothers.Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem.
This is the flagship series by Her Interactive that has been around since the late 90's. It's for ten and up and I have been playing since I was a kid. They're semi-educational point and click adventure games that have been pretty much ignored by mainstream gaming press despite being very successful (over 30 games and counting). They feature the famous detective going on adventures and some surprisingly difficult puzzles, even for adults. Later games even veer into some legitimate horror territory that have had scares in them that have even frightened some adult gamers I know (see titles like Ghost of Thornton Hall and Shadow at the Water's Edge). Being edutainment games meant for young adults, they cover things like history, culture, language, the arts, folklore, and science. That includes even some hard science like physics and engineering (see: The Deadly Device). From 1999 to 2015, Her Interactive released 2 games per year.
Then shit went sideways at the company and though they kept promising the release of the 33rd game for years, they kept putting it off until they partnered with another studio, changed the longstanding voice talent (including the voice of Nancy, who had been with them for 32 games), and went with a whole new game engine. Fans have been waiting for this game for ages.
...Aaand it's shit. The writing and graphics for these games have almost always been pretty solid with a few exceptions. They have tried to give this thing a more open world feel and failed spectacularly as this thing is not only more linear than any game before it, but the environments look like shit and it's slow af. I don't have the best machine in the world, but if I can play Assassin's Creed Black Flag on it with no trouble, a Nancy Drew adventure game that's under 3 gigs should not be running like this. The characters thus far are dull and disappointed and we have one of the most annoying recurring characters in the fandom literally following Nancy around. I am going to keep playing for a while longer but I have almost given up.
