What are you playing right now?

Suikoden 3. I don't love this. The first one is a gem, and 2 is an all time genre great, but this one is just okay. The story is slow and the changes to the battle system aren't good. Traversing the world map is a massive pain in the ass.

I don't have XBox Live so I only play single player and casually at that. But Microsoft is doing free multiplayer this weekend.

It's a good game to play online for someone who usually doesn't because there's no real code of conduct. If you're way behind in a race it's perfectly acceptable to just say fuck it, turn around and race around the track backwards and take people out.

For most people playing online is super routine. But I don't think I have since I used to jump on one of my college dorm roommate's PS2 and play NCAA Football back in the mid 2000s. So it's kinda novel experience for me, even something so unremarkable for others.

Then skip Suikoden 4 and go straight to Suikoden V. V goes back to it's succesful roots

Carrion, a metroidvania-style horror game where you're a monster (seemingly of alien origin) on the loose in a scientific facility. Fans of sci-fi/body horror movies of the 70s/80s, such as The Thing, Alien, The Blob etc will probably enjoy it (I know I do!).

So cycling through games right now
Bloons TD6, love me some good Tower Defense games.
Smite, It seems faster than other MOBAs and Arena mode is nice for something fast.
Dying Light, probably the best Zombie Playground out now but horrible story, it just edges out Borderlands 3 for best gameplay/worst story game.
Grim Dawn, Diablo 3's lack of character building beyond, get x loot just makes me glad this game is out. And with all the Masteries get so many combos to try out.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 complete, an oldie but a Goldie one more turn game.
They are Billions, Age of Empires meets Zombie Apoc. I cannot speak for the campaign but the survival mode is too fun.
 
Halo Wars 2. I got the complete edition with all the DLC and have been playing the story, since Halo:Infinite's main enemies were introduced in this game. Wanted to try and catch the D EE P L O R E

I went through this last week and enjoyed the shit out of it, especially the boss design. It's been amusing seeing people whine about the lives system in it and Bloodstained. Babies need to git gud.

Playing dead rising 2 off the record a lot trying to get back into that series in general but the first two and off the record will always be the best I like 4 and 5 but honestly at this point the og dead rising could do with the resident evil 2/3 remake treatment

The bosses are great. They sure managed to dig up some obscure mythological beings there. Most people have heard of Anubis and the Medusa, but a swiss snowman called Boeoegg? Great stuff.
 
Played through the new Dying Light DLC (Hellraid) and beat it in just about an hour.

Definitely not worth the $10 for such little, uninteresting content. A shame too considering how phenomenal the base game is.
 
Troy Total War. Get it for free today with a creator code ie some streamer like Shenryyr. The code seems to be his name not 'Sarpedon.' Not on Steam yet. Download and buy via the Epic games launcher. Good game so far.
 
Fall Guys. It's actually kind of fun and charming. Minus the luck based and team maps those are cancer.
 
A mix of Fall Guys and the Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.

I also bought this yesterday, it was well worth the $129.99 plus tax and shipping.
