Risk of Buggy release 2.
Gearbox and bad development decisions have fucked over yet another promising game series, rejoice. Not only have Hotpoo failed to fix the ridiculous scaling issues with stage 5 of RoR2, they also made the daftest design decision I think I've ever seen; they buffed the way bleed works to a point where actually viable for the entire game, from the beginning to the end, and then they implemented a final boss that ACTIVELY DISCOURAGES players from making bleed builds because the boss STEALS YOUR ITEMS AND USES THEM TO APPLY ALL OF YOUR ON HIT EFFECTS, INCLUDING THE BUFFED BLEED.
At least they introduced a scrapper so now you don't have to run using a command artifact if you actually want to make it past stage 5 on Monsoon, but then the rest of the update is just this really shoddy 'one step forward, two steps back' situation. the 5 minute walk leading up to the final boss feels like it was pulled from an E.Y.E; Divine Cybermancy level; it's just a pointlessly long stretch of road with nothing in it except for a few basic enemies and all of the item rooms grouped together at the end of the level next to the boss fight, Nothing like the final level of the first game, which was arguably one of the most intricate and fun levels that it had to offer.
TL;DR RoR2's 1.0 update is a gigantic disappointment
