What are you playing right now?

Replaying the Assassins Creed games in release order. Probably going to stop at Black Flag since that's the last one I really enjoyed (Haven't played Origins or Odyssey, they any good?) I'm in the middle of 3 and I'm appreciating it a bit more than when it first came out, seems like they tried to experiment with the franchise and figure out where to take it next. Although having Connor be present at almost every big moment in America's birth gets a little ridiculous at points.
Origins and Odyssey are action-RPGs with loot, leveled enemies, side quests out the wazoo.

If you're into that sort of thing, you'll have a damn good time with them, and the expansions for them are quite meaty.

Be sure to check out Rogue. Story is meh, but you don't play AC games for the story, and game play is a more refined version of Black Flag, plus since its set during the French and Indian War you get some much cooler toys like a windbusche with frenzy darts and Puckle guns for your ship's swivels.

I second that, Rogue's a good game and a far better experience than Unity.

Don't sleep out on Syndicate if you don't like Unity either, that game's pretty much Unity done competently.

Playing the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat, since I don’t have the trilogy made for the PS2.

I forgot that this one had Jason and Freddy in it.

I just finished a game with my friend called End Roll. It's in RPG format, and the premise is that a sociopathic boy put on death sentence for murders has an experiment ran on him where it makes him relive his sins in his dreams to learn remorse. It was surprisingly better than I thought it would be, although it gets quite edgy at times. My favorite character is Dogma.

I finally beat Dark Souls 2 the other day. I should move on to DS3 but I wanted to replay with a different build on DS2.
I decided to go sorcery on my first playthrough and holy shit that is easy mode - now I'm running through with crossbows and Lightning Claymore +10 (its ok) and no magic whatsoever. For all of the bullshit in DS2, I've had a lot of fun with it. I know people hate it or whatever but honestly, it's been a great game to play through. When I stumbled upon the King near the end of the game, I just sat there staring at my tv like 'wait, what? What?!'
Black Gulch, Shrine of Amana, The Gutter etc can go fuck themselves but otherwise I had lots of fun.
Gonna replay Dark Souls 1 before I go to 3 now just...'cause...you know-

Remnant: From the Ashes has pleasantly surprised me, it's not bad at all. Other than that I've been playing Deep Rock Galactic and Civ4.

EDIT: Yes I do mean Civ 4 and not Civ 6, the expansions and mods for Civ 4 make it my favorite game in that franchise.

Bloodstained ritual of the night and curse of the moon, the former Konami guys have the right idea. The company behind the actual series has become a ghost of its old self so just make your own version of the series

I've been grinding in Fire Emblem Revelation for 2 years now, and by god, I'm finally going to finish it this year. I've dropped everything else to tackle the rest of the damn kids, after tackling the 50+ main cast.

I hate grinding, yet I can't stop doing it.

Death end re quest 2. The lesbian loli gunner is over powered as fuck. She's chewing through basic enemies and bosses.

Bought Control on Steam last week but haven't had time to play it yet. Loved Alan Wake and Quantum Break, so I'm looking forward to it.

But lately I've been playing Borderlands 3 with a friend who lives and works abroad (our social time together ever since he left our country), and though I've always liked BL it pisses me off how a AAA game could be so poorly coded. Constant network glitches, wonky asset streaming, and when they claim they've "made fixes to improve stability" it gets worse on my system, which can play basically any other game without issue. I found it funny that they nerfed ricochets (which you could make awesome builds around) because apparently these caused crashes. Yet I only started getting crashes after they implemented their "fix". Gearbox really needs to be sorted out, but with Randy in charge they'll never be.

I also keep going back to Apex Legends, it's a fun time waster but a bit janky as well. I think the main issue is the server tic, but there are quite a few instances of shots that should hit and they don't. They keep "fixing" hit registration, but it never gets fully fixed. And I like playing with Loba, who currently suffers from a major case of the bugs. Her tactical was working too well on release, so they decided to limit it a bit. And what do you know, the "fix" ruined her tactical. Now it doesn't work half the time, especially on the second map. They've tried to fix it, but haven't managed to yet.

So yesterday I decided to try out Call of Duty Warzone just for the hell of it. Hadn't played a CoD game for over 10 years, but I saw some videos and it seemed quite good. I was stunned. Loved the feel of shooting, haven't felt such good shooting mechanics since Destiny 2 on PC. Apex is good, but Warzone definitely felt much better. And whenever a shot didn't hit I really felt it was my fault and not the game. The rendering engine also feels much smoother than Apex or Battlefield, for example. I never thought I'd say this (never was a CoD fan), but I really like Warzone and it may surpass Apex as my go-to time waster if Respawn don't get their act together.

Say whatever you will about Activision (and I do, greedy fucking cunts), but Warzone feels like a very well polished and optimized piece of code. It's a sad state of affairs in the gaming industry when the best, most polished code comes from arguably the worst publisher.

Playing Castlevania via the Konami legacy collection. I swear they only made said collection because bloodstained and the Netflix anime were coming out at the time and they wanted to cash in with as little effort as possible because that's all Konami does anymore.
Sperging aside I'm on the original game it took me like 20 tries but I managed to defeat the reaper last night now all that's left is Dracula himself.
