What are you playing right now?

Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 3. It's the same shit as always, but for some reason this one feels a lot more satisfying.

Super Smash Bros. Melee on Dolphin.

After getting used to Melee's pace again, I was able to play as Link and beat level 9 Marth and Roy CPUs. Also Melee has my favorite version of the Battlefield stage.

Gave Nuclear Throne a whirl and I enjoy it quite a lot, it's like a post-apocalyptic mix between Hotline Miami's complete chaos and low HP and The Binding of Isaac's powering up to keep yourself alive longer.

Speaking of HM I'm pretty sure the Chicken character's weapon-throwing is a direct reference to that game on account of Jacket's rooster mask.

Crime Cities, a very obscure Polish cyberpunk action game made by Techland in 2000. It's about an undercover agent working as a mercenary on various run-down planets of the Pandemia star system, a place where the government deports criminals, political adversaries and other inconvenient people. You pilot your very own flying car and complete various missions (kill A, escort B, capture C, etc.)
It didn't age well with time, but it's still very atmospheric. I loved it when I was a kid.

Dark Souls was on sale so I picked it up. I know literally nothing about it other than that it's called Dark Souls and it's hard as balls.

The PSP version of Final Fantasy One. I'm emulating it on my computer and streaming it to my in-laws TV via their computer with Steam. Playing FFOne on Sunday morning - all I needed was a blanket and a bowl of Golden Grahams and it was like I was 10 again.

Been playing Rise of flight, and holy crap ww1 planes are shitheaps. I've never died so often and at such little prompting in any flight sim before.

Been playing Dead State on a friends computer. Been hooked on it ever since. It kinda reminds me of Fallout in a way with the isometric combat (no option to aim for certain limbs though).

Been playing Bravely Default. I just can't fathom how I missed this game on launch, it's a goddamn joy to play (probably because Final Fantasy V is one of my favorite but still..).
If you ask me, this game just shows how you don't need over the top presentation to be a really good JRPG.

Eternal Darkness. It seems like it has a pretty well written story so far - I'm currently on Chapter 3 and have a spell to fix things.

Finally beat Peace Walker. Overall, gameplay was fantastic, the music was good, and the graphics were great for what it is. However, the boss battles were pretty lame compared to the other installments, and the endgame went on for way too long. Seriously,
repeating the same mission 7 times, and having to do repeat missions you've already done in between got repetitive. Maybe it was because I was on the PS3. Also, grinding Mother Base got a little tedious.

Trying to get Silent Hill 4 to run on a PC running Windows 10. It's not going well. Going to try one last thing(virtual machine XP), and if that doesn't work, I'll just look for a PS2 copy *sigh*

for my retro gaming I bought a second hand laptop from the XP era for about £20 and installed Windows 98 on it. It runs basically everything from XP era and below on maximum settings. I use an external keyboard, mouse and monitor so the experience is pretty authentic.

I've been playing hotline Miami lately. Good game. Really frustrating, but still a good game. I plan of playing "this war of mine" sometime soon.

Doing daily shit in FFXIV until the 3.1 content hits and cringing at people's Super Mario Maker levels.
