Dark Souls was on sale so I picked it up. I know literally nothing about it other than that it's called Dark Souls and it's hard as balls.
Prepare to die.Update: it is indeed hard as balls.
for my retro gaming I bought a second hand laptop from the XP era for about £20 and installed Windows 98 on it. It runs basically everything from XP era and below on maximum settings. I use an external keyboard, mouse and monitor so the experience is pretty authentic. Finally beat Peace Walker. Overall, gameplay was fantastic, the music was good, and the graphics were great for what it is. However, the boss battles were pretty lame compared to the other installments, and the endgame went on for way too long. Seriously, repeating the same mission 7 times, and having to do repeat missions you've already done in between got repetitive. Maybe it was because I was on the PS3. Also, grinding Mother Base got a little tedious.
Trying to get Silent Hill 4 to run on a PC running Windows 10. It's not going well. Going to try one last thing(virtual machine XP), and if that doesn't work, I'll just look for a PS2 copy![]()
