What are you reading right now?

So far I've reread
Sense and Sensbility
Howl's Moving Castle
The Count of Monte Cristo

The only thing I haven't reread recently is The Great Gatsby. I've also been thumbing through a copy of Hyrule Historia that my boyfriend gave me for Christmas, the illustrations are beautiful as fuq ;o;

Because I hate myself, I decided to read Imperial Commando: 501st. Sweet zombie Christ, do I regret that. Ever other sentence is Traviss beating the reader over the head that "JEDI ARE EVIL SLAVEMASTERS! MANDALORIANS ARE GOOD!". She conveniently ignores the fact the many of the crimes she accuses the Jedi of doing (slave armies, kidnapping, child abduction) are things that the Mandalorians themselves have done in the past. The supposedly "good" characters are psychotic assholes who do jack shit. I swear, Traviss was the Stephanie Meyer of Star Wars.

Right now, anything I can get hold of on marine engineering, because Navy.
Mind you, one Republic of Thieves (finally) comes out, all my preparations will probably come to a screeching halt.

I've been reading "A Song of Fire and Ice" to tie me over until the next season of Game of Thrones, currently I'm on book two "A Clash of Kings".

No More Dirty Looks by Siobhan O'Connor and Alexandra Spunt. It's about the misinformation about petrochemical ingredients in cosmetics and how they can harm our health. It also promotes botanically-based beauty products.

My mom now thinks I'm a zealous hippie for being so against petrochemical-laden beauty products such as Bath and Body Works. I already have pretty stout environmentalist beliefs as it is.

I'm currently reading a series of science fiction books called "The Ancient" (Древний) written by a Russian writer Sergei Tarmashev.
None of his books were translated into English, which is a shame - he seems to be a pretty good writer.

I'm jumping between House of Chains by Steven Erikson and a reread of A Clash of Kings by George RR Martin. I'm just realizing that Robb's a terrible commander.
Don't read unless you've finished book/season 3
Roose Boltons actually one of my favorite characters. Basically because what he's doing he's doing because it's best for the north

I've been re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia and I'm on Prince Caspian right now. I also started reading the Dune series earlier this semester and can't wait to start Heretics of Dune! I've been reading Agatha Christie's murder mysteries in between.
Now that I have winter break coming up I might read the Illiad.

I just finished Cujo by Stephen King. I think next I'm probably gonna read this Conan collection I got, and the 4th Harry potter cuz I'm reading that series.
