What are you reading right now?

I'm reading "My Beloved World" the autobiography of Sonia Sotomayor, the supreme court justice. It's good. I like memoirs and autobiographies. My favorite genres, I think.

At my college's book store they have books for ESL students and one of the books there was "Logans Run". Which is a book I've wanted to read for a while and never got around to reading it. It also came with an audio transcription, which is pretty convenient.

Thus far I'm surprised at how little exposition the book has, it keeps a really good fast pace.

I just finished Veronika Decides to Die. It's a very interesting book that questions what insanity is and redemption. It's a pretty quick read. I finished it at work today.

I have a lot of serial killer books but I always find myself rereading Lolita and Let The Right One In. I highly, highly suggest any of the three.

I fucking love the Dresden files I've read the whole series three times.

I'm not too far ahead of you here Hunger. Almost finished with Proven Guilty then unto White Night. I decided to read them after all the audiobooks. My husband and I are impatiently waiting for Skin Game. It's an amazing series.

I'm also re-reading The Moaning of Life: The Worldly Wisdom of Karl Pilkington. That man never fails to amuse me.

I Just finished reading "The Hobbit". I've got a few other books I want to finish first (Metro 2033, American Gods). After those, I think I want to start reading either some Dostoyevsky (The Brothers Karamazov, The Idiot), or some Celtic history books. I resolved to read more books this year.

I don't know what to read next. My favorite genres are memoirs and horror stories.

Although the combination of the two tends to be a bit dark....

You might enjoy "The Gone Away World" by Nick Harkaway. It starts a bit slow but it's riveting and has one of the best plot twists ever.
