I never intended to have three monitors, it just happened.
The first one is a Dell Ultrasharp 2410, 16:10 with a 1920x1200 resolution and a "10" bit IPS panel. It's 8 bit+FRC, but it is still very nice and it has all of the inputs. DP, HDMI, DVI, VGA, component, composite and maybe S-video, I haven't looked at the back for a while but I could hook up a NES to it and run it picture-in-picture. It's got different modes like Adobe RGB, sRGB and a game mode for lower latency. Cranking up the brightness to 100% forces me to squint, I don't remember how many knits it can put out but it's getting into HDR territory. Keeping it at 50% is more than enough. Really nice image quality that makes my kiwifarms shitposts look natural and realistic.
The second one is a cheap AOC IPS monitor, it's pretty decent for the price and I just wanted good viewing angles while reading PDFs and other content 16:X is absolute shit at.
Third one is a Dell, the U2412, yet another 16:10 IPS monitor. It's pretty decent, 6 bit+FRC like many IPS monitors, fewer inputs than the 2410 and it can't be turned up to be as bright as the sun. This was the addition I never planned to get, I picked it up when the university bought new gear, it was in perfect condition, nearly unused, very low lamp time and really cheap. I can't resist a bargain.
