I built it a few years ago and its still runs everything pretty well, the LG Monitor was the last thing I got for it and made a huge difference I found. First thing I think I'll upgrade is the CPU but I'm in no rush.

What I love about how CPU's have been since the original i3/i5/i7 is you can still use a CPU from 2012 (3570k in my case for example on my other build with a 660Ti, still fast enough for just normal things and most games at medium or even high... 16gb DDR3 and a 480Gb SSD). It's still great and pretty fast 8 years later. Imagine saying that in the Pentium and even in the Core era. I remember the difference between my 64MB Celeron 300 and my P3 500 256MB was night and day... It used to take up to a minute to load some MAME roms back in the day, and once I upgraded, it was instant, and no lag...View attachment 1251536

1496 ram? Is speccy only reading the single rate, or am I missing something?
Da red 'unz go fasta, tho!Nothing special but it does the job. I have it in a plain black case with some expensive cooling fans that run quiet. Miss me with that RGB shit.

It's not the specs on your desk, it's what feels right to you.i just built a pc today. its low spec, budget as shit, cable management IS shit, and has no internet whatsoever, but hey, it works.

asus prime b350m a motherboard
8gb of 3000mhz ddr4
120gb ssd for the os
1tb hard drive for bulk storage
