What do you do when you're sad?

Don't make any big plans or life changes, or try to make any organizational/scheduling decisions.

Put yourself to work at an arbitrary physical task if you can. Something with narrow scope, and stick to that scope.

E.g. Life is shit but right this second the goal is to weed the flower bed; you can ruminate over your thousands of failures but you have to do it while your body is in motion.

Should have read this before I cut my bangs.

As my bangs have already been cut I resort to going on the internet to laugh at ugly trannies so I can feel better about myself, sometimes there is alcohol involved.
 
The only real solution for sadness is planning. The act of planning implies problem solving. The recognition of a problem, and the act of planning implies that you won’t have that problem forever. I am of the mindset that depression is nearly always situational. Find why, then you can find how.
