What do you find irritating about YouTubers?

Advertising for VPNs, then literally in the same fucking video bitching about Youtube monetization, and / or shilling for their patreon.

"I just quit my job to do YouTube full time and now can barely afford my rent....SO HOW 'BOUT MANSCAPED HUH?"

When they can't keep the volume consistent on an edited video. It's not completely in your control on stream. If you're editing a video, there's no reason one moment should be so quiet you need to turn up the volume, then the next is the loudest sound on earth. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they have loudness equalization on, but in reality, they're probably just lazy and maybe retarded also.

Similarly, when they're too close to the microphone and you can hear the saliva in their mouth. I'm not watching ASMR, back off the fucking mic.

Political Youtubers do this a lot but when they talk down to the audience and act like they are delivering some sort of gospel for the peasants to hear (This is mainly a problem with all of Breadtube on the left while Ben Shapiro and Paul Joseph Watson do this a lot)

When people who make content try to act like people care about their personal lives and do stupid blog tier content or talk about how cool they are.

Gaming clip videos with an unnecessary intro, like and sub, or other overproduction. A short clip of how to unlock an achievement or how to beat some bullshit boss should ideally be without any voiceover even, but these Gen Z fuckers think I'm here for the fake friendship and community of twitch face spamming retards.

I hate when they virtue signal, that's an instant unsubscribe. Autistically screaming (especially randomly like SomeCallMeJohnny) is a big one. I hate their annoying, exaggerated, cringe facial expressions they put on their thumbnails.

There's not very many good ones, really, and I've been whittling down my subscriptions. I literally just now booted that faggot The NES Punk and his even faggotier friend from my list, actually.

When their mic is too "rich". Basically, they bought some uber expensive mic and they fucked with their Audacity settings a lot as a result, so now you hear every damn vibration of their vocal chords and (sometimes) all the saliva in their mouth. Like yea it sounds """better""" but it induces a headache in me after awhile, especially when they combo it with high or low audio levels and poor mixing and put on some deeper than normal voice. I've always been fine with them having a more cheap mic with less fancy settings messed with, but maybe I'm just weird.

When a youtuber starts to use their kid for free videos or to fill in a weekly slot. Paolo From Tokyo is just a generic travel blog that I have no opinion in either direction but he at least shows things of interest with his day in the life videos compared to other japanese youtubers outside of Abroad In Japan. It seemed like his family vlog stuff was on a second channel but recently he's been using his kid for content on his main channel. The views reflect people don't want this but it keeps showing up.

That's a beggar strategy. Bring your kid in for sympathy and additional money.

Sounds like Paolo. He's a big fake smile content farm. I'll watch his videos and he'll be doing like "Top 10 bars in Akihabara" and will mention when he's there that it's his first time going there.
If it's your first time being there then this isn't the top 10 bars, it's just 10 bars and you're shitting out content.

How they hold a monopoly on opinion these days. If you want your takes to be taken seriously by more than 6 people on the internet these days, you HAVE to be a jewtuber with a good camera, a good microphone, an environment where you can record seamlessly with no audio interruptions and without bothering anyone nearby with your talk, an interesting (but advertiser friendly) personality, overall decent production value and editing, and in some cases, a pre-established following.

the only real alternatives are the absolute cesspit of Twitter, Reddit which feels like talking to a brick wall, and forums & blogs which no one gives a shit about in 2022.

Cat and dog videos where the sound is shitty cheerful royalty free music instead of natural cat and dog sounds.

Cat and dog videos that is 40% cat and dog content and 60% human talking about the cat and dog. Worse for wild animal videos like lions and wolves. Fuck off human, I'm here for the animals.

Cat and dog videos where they were recorded with hidden cameras. Why would cats and dogs care if a camera is hidden? They don't know what a camera is so they won't act differently anyway.

Cat and dog reuploads for the sake of shekels.

Technically a lot of animals can detect electromagnetism from recording devices, which can be blocked with certain shielding. I doubt they actually are going to the effort of blocking that though. So it is just stupid.

Putting this shit at max volume at the start of the video, end, and then every two minutes at the bottom. Why would anyone subscribe to a channel that’ll disrupt the content every video to play this nagging thing? I timestamp it and say unsubscribed.

So many creators will say they HAVE to play this every two minutes or they lose subs. Just because someone made a video or a blog post saying it could help numbers doesn’t mean you should cancer up your content.

Like that one guy that uses his autistic daughter for views
