What do you find irritating about YouTubers?

  1. Youtubers who insist on putting the channel name in the title of their videos, as though I'm so stupid I can't figure out what channel I'm watching.
  2. Creators who put footage from later in the video in the introduction-- for fuck's sakes, just get to the content and stop wasting my time showing me things twice.
  3. People like WatchJRGo who insist on jamming their dirty dick beaters into the camera lens while nagging me to "Like, share, subscribe!" You wouldn't shove your fingers into someone's face in real life, why would you do it on camera?

When they flash text up for like a second
Doing a premier for every single video.
Those channels that like to put spoilers in the thumbnail.
Begging for likes and subs.
"and here's why"/"I watched/read X so you don't have to"

Don't forget to smash that like button, comment and subscribe and share this video to all your friends on social media, I'd really appreciate it.
And now a word from our CCP sponsor.
Now I have to state that this is my opinion. It's OK if you like it or hate it, just keep in mind it's MY opinion, okay guys? So, IN MY OPINION....
Youtube is hiding my subs and killing my views. Totally it's not people checking out of my shitty content.
Hello critic, it's me, your DARK counterpart. I wear a black hoodie after all. Now review this movie or I will blow up the planet with my hidden Gamma bombs!

Cat and dog videos where the sound is shitty cheerful royalty free music instead of natural cat and dog sounds.

Cat and dog videos that is 40% cat and dog content and 60% human talking about the cat and dog. Worse for wild animal videos like lions and wolves. Fuck off human, I'm here for the animals.

Cat and dog videos where they were recorded with hidden cameras. Why would cats and dogs care if a camera is hidden? They don't know what a camera is so they won't act differently anyway.

Cat and dog reuploads for the sake of shekels.

When they slow down their speech, pause after every other sentence, saying the full name of something instead of the acronym (i.e. instead of saying NASA they'll say "The National Aeronautics and Space Administration" every time) all in a vain attempt to make their videos longer than they actually need to be.

When a youtuber receives a copyright strike and they mute the audio in the video. Like I get it's not their fault but at that point the video is pretty much unwatchable and should just be taken down.

Youtubers that seemingly have endless amounts of disposable income and constantly have new frivolous items that they show off (hey guys just bought my tenth Nintendo switch). It just promotes unhealthy financial habits for people. On that note I think it's a really bad idea for a Youtuber to flex their wealth especially if the persona they're trying to present is a relatable down to earth person or doesn't really have much to do with luxury items. I'm not against rich people or anything but I think its extremely vain to be constantly showing everyone your new Lamborghini or "mansion" or whatever.

When they're a native english speaker and they go to great pains to pronounce every non-english word/name as a native speaker would. You can hear them pause to take a breath and concentrate every time, straining their voice. It's stupid partly because there's a near infinite amount of these arbitrary pronunciations to have to memorize. Fuck off with that precedent.

Then at the same time they expect non-native english speakers to completely butcher basic english words that they've actually heard said correctly countless times.

It's not just youtubers, but they're the biggest offender.

Whenever a youtuber doesn't cite what music they used in the background of their videos.
I'm watching a LSuperSonicQ video and get interested in what piece of remix version of this old nintendo music I hear in the background and there is nothing telling me what it is.
It is so frustrating.
I don't mind that so much if the creators would at least interact with the comments more and answer questions when people timestamp "What's the music at XX:XX?". I've seen relatively smaller channels do exactly that: people in the comments would ask the names of songs used, and the creator would respond by linking them the exact song on YouTube.

>They tell you to subscribe first thing at the beginning of the video even though you haven't watched the video in order to make a judgement yet
>Lets players who use a metric fuckton of visual effects, flashy video editing, talk really fast, and even speak in a faggy way
A lot of youtubers feel so plastic nowadays. I remember my favorite youtubers back in the day not having to use flashy editing to be mildly entertaining. They had a genuinely fun personality, and reeled you in on that alone.

Youtubers that leave obvious editing and voice over errors in their videos. I notice this mainly with Youtubers that upload everyday or more. Like they'll fuck up a line and then leave the bad take in the video. Don't they even watch the video before they upload it? Why should I watch their video if they themselves aren't even willing to watch it to check for mistakes.

Ambiguousamphibian turned into this. His videos always had zoom-ins and jump cuts but they've become way more extreme and way more frequent. He's not at sseth-tier video editing yet but he's getting there.
