I like that he's trying to get sober. That's such a difficult thing once addiction has got it's hooks in you, especially when you've built your identity around your DoC the way Ralph has.
If he can stick to it it's going to show a major strength of character that even he's likely forgotten that he possesses.
Beyond the intoxication and deviant behavior it causes with him, I think he's a cool dude in general. Plus I've always hated his dedicated enemies more than I ever did him, so I love seeing how he makes them seethe.
Here's to the hope of seeing the cottage industry of "let's a-log Ralph" grifters broke, irrelevant and in the gutter where they belong!

Despite his numerous flaws, Ralph's one admirable quality is his unshakeable bravado and dedication to his persona. Most people would be humbled after 2 divorces, multiple humiliations and being beaten in the streets of foreign countries, but not the Ralphamale. He keeps on truckin, no matter how many wheels fall off that bitch. 5 star days! Souweeeeeee!!!

This is something all lolcow do. Most of their actions and the crap they say usually follows a certain formula. It gets to a point were you can easily guess how they will react and what they may say. Even at those odd times they do something out of character, if you look long enough, they haven't broken the formula but only took a turn we didn't realize before.

When it comes to Ethan Ralph, there are times where he's forced to make a desicion and my normal brain assumes he'll do something to his own benefit. Then he acts, foot in mouth and retarded as always. I know his formula but his timing and delivery is always gut busting. His childlike energy when he self-sabotages is funny stuff.

That's always something that struck me. Ralph was a massive manchild NEET into his early 30s living at his mothers unemployed yet knows how to network and is decently charismatic. To be clear I mean charismatic by the sektor standards where everyone has autism.
