I generally use 'queer' to mean anyone who is lesbian, bisexual or gay. Nowadays, the fact that there's a 'Q' added to the acronym is bullshit, though, because it's not its own thing. There are people who refuse to identify with a sexuality, and just say they're queer. You're one of those three, stop trying to act like you're something separate/special.
I also have always viewed the term as something LGB people use amongst themselves and each other, and it was always positive in that sense. Now, it's associated with these SJW assholes, and the term is skewered to hell and back (not to mention the idea that if you're "queer", you have no personality outside of that). That's more of a personal sidenote, but it just really pisses me off that they've taken it for themselves and now that's what the word is associated with.
