What game did you finish today?

Warhammer 40K Space Marine's campaign, on Normal difficulty.

Recently finished up the last of Ratchet and Clank 3's arena challenges.

I just love the original R&C trilogy. The games are just so full of charm and leveling up my weapons and decimating hordes of enemies never seems to get old.

I finished Emily's Hopes and Fears (aka Delicious 12) yesterday. I plan to go back to finishing the missions.

Finished a normal run in Undertale last night, and now I feel like doing a pacifist run.

I feel like while Undertale was functionally pretty easy to play as a normal RPG, it gave me feels and regret for some of my choices and the end was a surprise. I also feel that the true challenge of this game would be bringing yourself to do a genocide run after growing attached to the characters, unless you're a completely soulless bastard. Most of these monsters are cute like pets or are just ridiculous but lovable, and it was hard to bring myself to kill them unless I didn't see any other choice (I was playing blind for my first playthrough, didn't use guides).

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. After taking a year long break from it. Story is kinda weak in comparison to the two before it but it's still fun and it holds up pretty well for a game that came out like a decade ago.

Just finished Baldurs Gate 2 for the second time and Before the Echo.
Enjoyed my second playthrough of BG2 more than the first, but still not a fan of the game.
Before the Echo remains my favorite rhythm game though.

Finished Psychonauts ,i bought it for next to nothing in the black friday what a great game even when tim shafer is a prick

*preordering psychonauts 2

Reactions: Overcast
Just finished Star Wars: KOTOR.

Initially, I wasn't too happy with some things, but the game got REALLY good later on.

The cast is memorable and interesting, the story and lore is top notch, and holy shit that plot twist.

The gameplay also slowly grew on me over time as well. It feels good knocking over a group of enemies with a force wave.

The game is kinda buggy though. The game would freeze a lot whenever I try to load a save from the main menu. Thankfully, there was a work around so I don't have to deal with that. (Just load up the auto save and then load up your saved game.) Plus, one of the default graphical options really messes up some of the visuals.

Over than that, I quite enjoyed this game. Probably the best Star Wars game I've played next to the original Battlefront games.

Stick of Truth on normal difficulty.

While the bosses ended up becoming easier as I progressed along, the battles were pretty fun considering how the abilities I used were stackable on each successful hit I made on an enemy.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. I absolutely loved The New Order (one of my favorite games), but I gave TOB a wide pass for a while because of some bad reviews. Picked it up yesterday when it was half price. I thought it was fair. Some of the setpieces were just amazing - as you're crawling through Wulfberg or whatever it's called as it's on fire and fire's raining down from the sky or as you're escaping the castle. So cool.

I did miss a lot of the narrative and worldbuilding bits. TNO was amazing because it gave you great action and great characterization - I genuinely ended up caring for the characters in the Resistance by the end and there was so much fantastic worldbuilding, like conversations overheard while crawling through the Berlin sewers and the newspaper clippings showing a world run by the Nazis. All missing in TOB, really, and it was kinda sad.

Also, didn't think a prequel was necessary, especially given the sequence of events in the prologue of TNO. Kinda gave it this whole "this is all sorta futile, isn't it?" patina.

Just finished the main story in Disgaea 5.

Gameplay wise, definitely the best in the series so far IMO.

Story wise, doesn't quite beat the first game, but I'd rate it as my second favorite so far.

Pretty damn good game I must say.

Finally finished Shadowrun Dragonfall. Had one turn left before getting game over via a dragon acting as a carrier of a man-made virus but I managed to shut it down and kill off the last few enemies. Compared to the first campaign of Shadowrun Returns, Dragonfall was harder, especially in the final stretch (ton of humanoid enemies to kill, two of which can shield the final boss and two that can literally teleport and hit you with their katana). May as well be grateful the RNG allowed the final shot on my sniper to kill the final boss and take the key to shutdown the virus mentioned earlier.

I completed my first playthrough on Beyond: Two Souls and I'm staying away from it. That was awful.

Personal story run on Guild Wars 2. Last chunk made me feel dead inside, not a fun time as a solo berserker build Elementalist. At least the last thing was a dungeon so they had armor repairs nearby... sigh. On to HoT story now.

Either yesterday or on midnight, I managed to beat Dong Dong Never Die as Violent Dong Dong. If only I could of finished as Sheng Hua Nan, the Chinese Skynet Terminator.

Just beat LoZ: The Minish Cap. I kinda conflicted with this game. I feel it's too short, too easy (difficulty does not mean "let's make the dungeons longer"), it's impossible to break sequence and I freaking hate kinstones. On the other, I liked how it integrated it's gimmicks. Like having to shrink down to enter a boss, or using the gust jar to blow a lily-pad I'm standing on. Hell, fighting regular enemies when Minish-sized made some great boss battles. It's creative and fun.

So, mixed feelings all around.

Beat Fallout 4 today. Went with the Railroad ending.
I hate how even when you try to do what you think is the right thing, the game still makes you feel like shit.
Still, solid story and good gameplay.
