What game did you finish today?

Just managed to beat The Oregon Trail.

I had myself, @Null, DSP, Connor, and CattyN along for the journey.

I was the only survivor. DSP died first (unsurprisingly) then CattyN, then Connor, and Null, alongside all our oxen, fell off the Wagon while we were going down the river that led to the end.

But at least I made it!

How did DSP die? Please tell me it was dysentery.

I mean come on man...

Just finished DS3, it took me a lot of time to do it because I'm going for 100% and needed to get all spells, rings and gestures I could.

Also I did everything posible on Antichamber a couple of weeks ago.

Dark Souls 3, for the third time.

Now I'm just running around in NG+, dressed as Ornstein and slamming people with the Dragonslayer Axe.

I'll have you know that I just beat Bioshock: Infinite earlier and I only cried for twenty minutes over the ending!

Next stop: Burial at Sea. God have mercy on my soul.

Meh, finished Flywrench. Fun game. I even got the Speedrun achievement and all (not like it was that difficult, but still).

I guess I'll try to get all rings and gestures now in DS3 (I fucked up the latter already, fucking Yuria and Pale Shade of Londor).

I just got my first ending in Little Lily Princess, which is Jessie's happy ending.

Beaten Silent Hill 2.

That was a nice little game. It had a very depressing kind of atmosphere and story. And a lot of the puzzles had me stumped for quite a while. (That elevator puzzle was obvious in retrospect. *facepalm*)

I also kinda enjoy the symbolism that is displayed in the game. Like the enemy designs, the way the world gets kinda corrupted and gets all gloomy looking, the fact Maria was constantly dying, all of this was central to James' character and story.

Kinda felt it was on the short side, but otherwise, I don't have any complaints.

I just finished Heart's Medicine: Time to Heal and for a time management game there are some slightly dark sports for lack of a better term (mainly with Daniel). Like it's cousin games, the Delicious series and now Fabulous Angela, I really cared about these characters.

Finally beaten Salt & Sanctuary. Some bosses such as the Witch felt like bullshit but the Nameless God I didn't expect to actually get his on me despite trying to dodge roll his attacks. Still, the fight against him was a fun one though I kinda wish the old man you meet before fighting him had more dialogue after you kill the Nameless God.

Just finished up Postal 2, including the Saturday and Sunday portions of the game.

It was definitely an experience. The game had a really satirical vibe going on, what with the game protesters, the mentioning of certain politicians, how absurd the violence and character interactions are. And yet, the game does surprise me a bit in some aspects. Like, when you seriously injure a person, like cut off one of their legs, they crawl slowly on the ground helplessly, crying, and occasionally forming a fetal position. And watching them burn alive is surprisingly graphic. At least for the time this game came out.

This, alongside the game's generally low budget presentation, kinda gives this game a sense of charm and feeling that isn't easily replicated in games like it.

If there's anything to complain about the game really, it's that the subject matter and stuff like Gary Coleman does make the game feel a bit dated. Sure, a lot of the stuff mentioned is still relevant today, but considering the game's release date and the events that preceded it, you can kinda tell this game was made to push some people's buttons at the time.

Still, for 99 cents, I had a hell of a lot of fun with it.

Finished The Way, nice game like flashback, sadly a little short and the two endings are very sad in my opinion
