What game did you finish today?

The Last of Us.

I went in with no expectations and had an interesting journey. It's the first game that's gotten me a bit misty-eyed. Aesthetically it reminded me a lot of Jak II. The oppressive government squads, the rebel faction, the nature-reclaimed ruins beyond the sparse pockets of civilization, protecting a child of great importance. I can't say I would've done anything different than Joel.

Just finished Beyond: Two Souls. I've gotta say that I really enjoyed it. The multiple endings are what kills me though.

You're given plenty of opportunities to commit suicide, though.

I just started that. Heard it was decent and thought that I should give it a try.

Finished Shadow Warrior today. Final boss wasn't really hard. Might tackle the expansions for it soon.

Jeeze that's a great game. Congratulations

I just completed GTA5, and I have to say

I thought the ending was pretty shitty.

I think it's more to do with the game having too many villains. Toward the end in Ending C it just has all the main characters find the villains loitering on the street

and you just kill them and the mission ends

Compared to the rest of the GTA games. Where you have some big epic climactic grande Finale where you do something outrageous, it really let me down quite a lot. It felt more like an epilogue to the final heist mission than anything else.

Game Dev Tycoon in terms of completing 35 years.

I finally beat POSTAL 2 Apocalypse Weekend, meaning I truly beat POSTAL 2. The MikeJ boss fight was hilarious. I'm actually surprised to learn that only 1% of players on Steam have beaten the whole game.

Most people, myself included beat Postal 2 years ago before it was re-released on Steam, and before it got achievements a few months back.

Well I only just found out about the game last summer.

Finally got around to beating Call of Duty: Ghosts last night.

Man, I want my money back.

Urgh, thanks for posting that. It's just confirmed that the Call of Duty franchise is slowly turning into a ParkourDude91 wetdream.

I generally like FPS's, but Call of Duty: Black OPs 2 but a real bad taste in my mouth and Ghosts is making me taste bile. Made-up weapons. Untenable, unrealistic situations. Dogs. South America teaming up and invading the US for some reason.

Combined with the fact that the ending of Ghost was pretty much copy-pasted from the ending of the 007 film "Moonraker", and I'm done. I think I'm going to try Battlefield now.

The most hilarious thing about the Dog for me is how Ghosts was marketed as this big singleplayer epic. I knew a lot of people that wanted to buy Ghosts just for the singleplayer because it advertised having a dog character that would be a huge part of the game.

And the dog appears in one level and never appears in the game again...

The only good Call of Duty game was the first Modern Warfare. Everything after that was constant seizure-inducing firefights, ridiculous plots, increasingly blatant racism, and a near-complete lack of self-awareness.

It just blows. I feel like I'm more involved in an interactive set piece than anything else. Run through a hallway, shoot some dudes. Then time slows down and things look cinematic, but you're really not playing the game at all. If you stray even a few feet away from the intended set piece, the game insta kills you and sets you back to the last check point. There's no real skill involved. There's no choice. I can't take a stairway to complete an objective another way because the game won't let me.

The entire time I was playing the campaign, I was reminded of Pavolv's dogs. Or Buffalo Bill.

IT TAKE THE HALLWAY TO THE RIGHT OR ELSE WE INSTA-KILL YOUR GUY.

And the dog mission was terrible.

An hour or tow ago, I beaten the main quest of Skyrim. Now I just have to get the DLC's and try to beat them in the future.
