What game do you wish Phil would play? - AKA best future TIHYDP material?

That or blame the controls like he did in Metroid Prime. My bud who sucked at Dread had an issue with the free aim that you need to use to kill some bosses that need to be hit in the head. If Phil plays with the stick instead of motion control, he will be in for a rough ride.

But yeah, he will get his hand held hardcore abour secrets and where to go only to claim that he is "Interacting with the stream chat"
Imagine him trying to execute some of those Shine Spark puzzles.

I wonder if that's why he is stalling on getting Metroid Dread, because he knows it'll suck, he'll have to have his hand held, and that'll drive off paypigs from tipping. I was bored watching the TIHYDP Super Metroid someone made about DSP. He has no passion for that game, and it's sad cuz Super Metroid is great.
he played Myst and had chat hand hold him through it
Now I wanna see him go thru Riven. The dome puzzle and the telescope puzzle are RNG combinations, and require knowledge of him learning the D'ni number system. He couldn't guess the combination, so he would have to have chat translate it, and it would be so obvious.

Now the fire marble puzzle, oh boy, that's be long as fuck with him trying to get the marbles in the right places. Even with chat help, he is blind as a bat and will fuck it up.

Phil playing a MilSim could be interesting, but it would never happen considering his retardation against PC Gaming and the belief it will not give him more tips.

This is how we know he didn't touch anything but Street Fighter back in the day, because there's no other explanation for someone his age having absolutely no appreciation for such a 90's classic. Even people who aren't into platformers dig Super Metroid when they're from that era, because when you grew up in the SNES age, you just simply GET IT.

It's obvious that his love of SF is out of a need to feel superior too, not because he really derives pleasure from simply playing it, because the instant he gets his ass handed to him his good mood vanishes, only to return when he finds some Derichs to whoop on. Phil simply doesn't like anything he has to interact with unless it feeds his ego, that's why his movie collection is so huge even though his business doesn't involve it at all. He would own nothing but fighting games if he had never gotten into YouTube.

He probably won't play Metroid Dread. I mean, his Metroid Prime 1 playthrough was horribly boring and he needed to get his hand held hard to beat the game on easy after getting his ass wrecked in the Phazon Mines (which was a nightmare for me back in the day). He has no love or passion for Metroid since he had Prime 1 and 2 for the Wii and he just played the first one when the second one is also pretty damn solid.

I wouldn't hold my breat for him playing another Metroid game. He most likely will not play unless his fans threw money at him to do it. And even with that, he would be as excited as a man watching paint dry.
he played Myst and had chat hand hold him through it
Damn, didn't knew he played Myst. I knew he got his hand held extremely hard when playing Morrowind, but fuck...

Another game that it would probably be laughable to see him play is Pathologic. Not the second one, but the first one. Not only he would need to get his hand held constantly, but he would need his chat to keep his attention in the game. If he nearly fell asleep during a cutscene in one of his playthroughs of Yakuza, playing Pathologic will make him sleep after 4 minutes. And let's not talk about his involvement in the plot and the world.

I know Phil won't touch Alone In The Dark original, but I'd love to see him try to tackle Sweet Home. It's dated by today's RPG standards, but knowing that it laid the ground work for Resident Evil, hey, it's worth mentioning once again. Phil would get his ass OWNED in it, with chat holding his hoof during the whole thing. "What do you mean I get hurt walking over glass? This is bullshit!" and "What just happened? Why was one of my team members blown away? You know what, fuck this!" Just to see him rage over a RPG never officially released outside of Japan, but laid the ground work for RE, I wish he'd get his sweaty hoof on this.

DSP plays Age of Empires II
"Dude his monks just converted my most powerful units!!! That's such bullshit"
"Woah how did this dude get to build a castle 5 minutes in??? I'm still at dark age! This game is full of fuckin' hackers man"
"Woah dude how did his cavalry archers destroy my catapults that's such complete bullshit, i could naht hit eem" :coom:

*Wololo* would become chat ban behavior.

I always wanted to see him play Pac-Man World 1 and 2. The first game has tons of collision issues and difficult bosses. The bosses in the second and third worlds would make for a potential rage quit. If he wanted to do a 100 percent run of the second game, then he'd have to do collect all the tokens and complete those horrendously strict time trials. Add to the fact that Phil is absolute shit at platformers in general, and you'd have 2 of his saltiest playthroughs ever.
Apologies for the necro, but I was actually going to suggest these. They’re good games but World 2 in particular is notorious for a difficulty curve that’s like driving off a fucking cliff. That game gets absolutely brutal in its later stages and 100% can easily take many, many more hours than you would expect from a Pac-Man 3D platformer. It’d make for some top-tier salt if he were to ever try those games out.

There's one I'd love to see him TRY to get his huff on, but good luck is D, since someone else already mentioned Enemy Zero already. It's basically Enemy Zero on steroids'! That would require Phil to get a Sega Saturn, which you can get for about $150 on eBay, but a physical copy of D might cost him a WWE Champions pull. So, can't do that. The other one, oh boy! The original Tomb Raider on the PS1.

I know he's butchered the series before, but I'd love to see him try to make an impossible jump "What! I could've cleared that, dood!" or him missing the T-Rex while trying to kill him and getting his ass HANDED to him. "That's bullshit!" All while kissing the series ass beforehand and going "Oh, yeah! I loved the series when I was a little pig. I played it all the time!" and while misunderstanding basic game mechanics.

Oh, DSP would suck such balls and do such inmensely bad plays in AoE he would be the king of Low Elo Legends. And i mean things such as playing Goths and going for cavalry, leaving the TC idle for 5 minutes, complaining about enemy raids and always being low in one or more resources.

T90 would have enough content to become an AoE DSP detractor.

Surprised he wouldn't be into any battle pass stuff (like in Halo for instance). Has he at the very least considered purchasing any cosmetics when playing the multilayer?
NO!
He's a mature adult so he is not into the whole ''game cosmetic culture'', only morons, kids and losers living in their parents basement buy that stuff.

Not to mention, one of the most important skills for early game micro is learning how to efficiently hunt pigs.

I second third fourth Crusader Kings 3. Crusader Kings 3 would be the most likely Paradox game he would play that is.
He could even make a relaistic avatr. When you create a leader you can give him gout. so that is covered since Phil loves to recreate himself in games with avatar creation

Oh, luring the boar and pushing the deer is important. How much would you bet that Phil would send villages one by one to hunt the boar and have them die? I also bet he wouldn't research loom thinking that 50 gold is too much. I would also bet for a scout cav army, not building walls or defenses, getting housed constantly or many other situational bran farts he can have depending on the civilization he plays.
