What game do you wish Phil would play? - AKA best future TIHYDP material?

Monster Hunter.
I know that he played MH4U a bit but I'd love to see him play MHW or even MHFU. It would certainly be something. Other than that?
League of Legends, because the game is already salty as fuck so it's going to be salt^2.

Any game with randomly generated environments would at least pull some good salt out of him, since he couldn't rely on his chat to hold his hand every step of the way. Assuming he was somehow forced to finish it and not just rage quit.

Unless it is bringing in plenty of money (and even then I don't feel that's a guarantee) you'd practically have to hold a gun to his head to prevent a rage quit.

And to tack on even more suggestions that would generate rage quits:

Ghoul School, Valkyrie Profile (1 and 2), Galerians, The Legend of Dragoon (IIRC this one would eat him alive as it is extremely grind heavy and bosses don't fuck around).

I wonder how he would do with old games like goof troop, zombies ate my neighbors, pocky and rocky, aero the acrobat, plok, etc, etc. When I think about it i wonder how he would handle dirt easy games like final fantasy mystic quest or super mario land 2: six golden coins.
Mystic Quest would be the perfect game for Dave as the game handholds you every step of the way

If Phil dared touch Valkyrie Profile I would burn down his house with him trapped inside it.

Just thought of something: Phil should dust of his XBox 360 and Play a round of Dance Central (preferrably 3) He could get some exercise and get donations at the same time. Brilliant! Oh and he should really take the Fireworks song

EYE Divine Cybermancy.

Why? This game is fucking esoteric. There's no actual dialogue, all voice acting is intentional gibberish. The story was poorly translated from French to English, so the text based dialogue makes little sense on the best of days. There's 23 tutorial videos, none of which Phil will watch even when prompted by the game to look at them. He'll get stuck in the first level because he can't figure out how to turn on his cyber legs and jump higher. He'll get his legs crippled and sit there, "what the fuck dood I'm walking so slow" because he won't pay attention when the game tells him his legs are broken. He won't pay attention to the in game text comms, and will get lost on basic objectives because once you reach an objective area the game doesn't hold your hand.

The chat can't help him much with this either, since EYE will actively spawn enemies all around you at all times and won't stop.

I want to see Phil play 'Cube Gothic'. It's a scrolling shooter, with platforming areas and light puzzles, that came out a few days ago on Steam.
All gaming skills that a gamer who grew up playing 80's games should have, especially the "King of Retro"

Get Phil to Rage and play GTA 5 Online.
Uhhh, okay?

Lurked the DSP subforum for a long time, first time making an account here. Since KiwiFarms might possibly be gone at some point, I figured I might as well make an account before the site bites the dust(not sure if I'll be active).

On topic, I wished he played one of the original three Splinter Cell games. He would hate the first 2. Chaos Theory, he probably wouldn't hate as much since it's a bit more forgiving(no three alarms and the mission's over for example), but I'm sure he would try to save scum and brute force his way through Chaos Theory.

I would love to see him attempt to do the Data fights in Kingdom Hearts II and III on Critical but at the very least, him going back to the Kingdom Hearts games he skipped because they "weren't necessary to the plot" (Chain of Memories, Birth by Sleep, Dream Drop Distance).

The first World Ends With You game would also be nice.

After I got hooked on Ace Combat 5: did Phil ever play one of the Ace Combat games? I think he never did but I might be wrong. I would love to see him play Ace Combat 5. God the salt in the White Noise mission would be massive

He only played Tom Clancy's HAWX I think. He initially planned on playing Ace Combat 7 when it came out but decided to skip it.

Any of the Quest games from Sierra. He'd lose King's quest 1 and he'd totally not fix his gun's sights in Police Quest 2. It would be nice to see the salt after not saving for an hour.
