What game do you wish Phil would play? - AKA best future TIHYDP material?

Seeing DSP play Rain World would be hilarious. That game is the epitome of "fuck around and find out". He would ragequit before he even got to Industrial Complex.

Solitaire because it requires just enough patience, tactics and forethought to frustrate someone like him. Seeing him struggle with such a simple game would be fucking hilarious

Hell, full streams of blackjack and poker would be hilarious based on how poorly he plays in Yakuza.

Here's Dave's expert blackjack gameplay if you need a refresher on how it looked like.

He also randomly says "oh no, undertaker" (in a Mickey Mouse falsetto but that's a whole other issue) at the eighteen minute mark when he's clearly frustrated at the game.

Nobody will be surprised to hear that's the name of a wrestler who is featured in WWE Champions. It's like Phil wants us to know he has a gambling problem without directly admitting to it.

Baseball Mogul, because it's awesome and he'd suck at it.

You manage a baseball team and set prices of food and trade and stuff. Graphics are of SNES quality.

Did he beat Doom 2? was the chat handholding him? I just can't see him beating certain levels.

Recently finished Killer7 on PC and man, he would be utterly baffled over what's going on in the story and more than likely bitch about the story not making sense, along with how "bad" the controls are. He'll never touch it(unless paid, of course)because he has no appreciation for these types of games.

I want him to play Plutonia on UV and using Chocolate Doom. The rage would be legendary and he wouldn't be able to get past the first level. I would also want to see him play Atari 2600 games (because they are simple enough for a child to play and all the graphics require imagination, which he doesn't have) and Astral Chain (which would require him to pay attention and NOT fuck around).

I’m sad Phil pussed out and refused to get those day 1 views for Monster Hunter Rise. It would’ve been funny to see him get carted by resident punching bags like the Kulu-ya-ku, Great Izuchi (Great Jaggi’s Japanese cousin), and Arzuros. Trying to face tank anything in those games is a death sentence even on the low rank missions, but I’m guessing that’s also why he seems to hate MH overall.

More games like Gout n Goblins.

I really don't know what he should play anymore to be frank. Everything he touches turns to shit. He plays games made for babies or people who want to watch an interactive movie. If it comes down to it, he learned how to stop gameplay every 5 minutes to talk to his spergy fanbase. And then if no one bites his obvious scam with his whales, he cries ultra hard, which is probably the only entertaining part.

I think it was metioned before but he should play Rocket League. It's F2P (it should also be on Ps4 right?) you don't need to buy anything to win you just need skill. Imagine the salt mine

Monster Hunter is definitely a game where you learn as you go. No hand holding needed.

Monster Sanctuary would melt his brain. It's essentially pokemon but it's always 3v3 (once you have at least 3 monsters) and while you heal between battles the normal mode has had complaints of being too hard for casual players, resulting in a patch that included a lower (and higher) difficulty.

So, 0utsider would have less filler (no pokemon centers, failing a battle puts you right behind where you died), Phil would be confused because it's a metroidvania (despite there being a map), and it could be like D : OS2 because the game itself thrives on monster synergy (for example, some creatures have a strategy based on charge stacks to increase damage, others status effects, others still rely on tribes which require reading the in game monster manual). It's also on console so he has no excuse to avoid it. All in all sounds like it'd at least one ragequit not-having-fun-quit with minimum a pinch of salt, maybe more if he does online battles.
