Would you mind sending the recipe my way, too, please? What's funny is, despite the cookbook calling it Saurbraten style, it technically doesn't fit that definition. You make a sauce out of green apple, onion, apple juice and ginger snaps that it sits in as leftovers, yes, but it's not necessary to full on marinade it.
Anyway, @TC-P I can shoot the recipe to you later. Don't have the book on me right now. It's sweet, sour, and savory with the barest hint of spicy, so it likes to be paired with a somewhat blander potato dish or a more bitter vegetable like broccoli.
That looks delicious
Thank you, it was. First time making it, saw it on TikTok and it looked delicious, had to try it. Made it on homemade naan and with tamarind paste instead of pomegranate molasses, as it's what I had. Came out awesome. That looks delicious
That's the authentic recipe for pasta alfredo. No milk or cream, the parm and butter are what make it creamy. My husband always says he wants the "Italian version of Mac & cheese", which according to him is pasta with butter and parmesan. I don't know where he got that idea...
