A great way to start the day

Last night I made a beef and veggie stew and beer bread, I added some fresh herbs from the garden (Sage and rosemary) on top of the bread to make it look pretty. Tonight I'm taking the leftover stew and baking it with mashed taters on top to make a shepard's pie. For dessert I'm going to make the skillet cookie mix that I got for Christmas.

hey, last night i made the nicest roasted veggie lasagna with ricotta. didn't get a good pic unfortunately but u gotta try make one.

anyone have a brownie recipe?
This is one of my favorite brownie recipes, I have some other ones I make but this one is super gooey and delicious. https://joyfoodsunshine.com/flourless-paleo-brownies/
Don't let the gluten-free and paleo label scare you away. I think that if you don't have any of the aternative flours on hand you could easily use regular flour. I just make it gluten-free for a friend who is allergic. I've experimented with throwing random candy in to great success.

I took a screenshot so you don't have to wade through the whole novel that comes before the recipe.

Bought a ham at deep discount and broke most of it down to be frozen. I used the smaller cuttings and the hambone to make soup. Bone, ham, onion, garlic, corn, potato, carrot, bay leaf, thyme, dried navy beans, dried pinto, black pepper, a little bit of probably a few other things. Chicken demi-glace because the stock was just lacking something. This went into a digital pressure cooker (not all at once, different stages). Then I threw in a bunch of cayenne pepper sauce before I almost over-salted.

Speaking of hot sauce I mailed my octogenarian grandfather a three-pack of hot sauces that he received today. He called to tell me he was excited about the marinade. I attempted to kindly clarify for him several times but I think he's about to have habanero-soaked pork loin tomorrow. He will likely enjoy it regardless as I had a bottle of Mad Dog 357 at Christmas for novelty's sake and he was drowning his Christmas morning taquitos in it. He is a hard motherfucker.

A big pot of beef stew. I got a beef top round on sale, cubed it and browned it. Cooked onion in the fond and used wine to deglaze. Added salt, pepper, msg, mixed dried herbs, and a spoonful of gochujang. Added tomato paste, beef stock, potatoes, carrots, and peas. Cooked in the oven for a few hours at 375 and it turned out really good.

Slow roasting a chicken on a sheet pan with potatoes and carrots. Everything is seasoned with garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and parsley and coated in a layer of olive oil. Should be pretty tasty, would probably be tastier if I had the time to brine it last night!

And if it's not to tasty, it will be when I put the leftover chicken into enchiladas.
