thanks that actually sounds more liker a compliment than anything. I've got two dishes left then it's back to cans of soup till payday at least (don't wanna dip into my stim money too much) expect either red beans and rice OR Jambalaya tomorrow. I still wanna try my hand at making gumbo but that takes 3 hours to cook, then blackened redfish or frying catfish next time to make a po boy sandwich. There's a whole plethora of Louisiana foods left to try my hand at making, anyone got any other suggestions? OR suggestions for other southern dishes?I know this is going to come out sounding really lame, but your knife is pretty fucking fancy looking.
Made home made chicken soup last night.
Finally took all those chicken bones I've saved up in the freezer out.
Let those babies boil in some seasoned water for about two hours, drained them, then added the veggies, chicken and egg noodles.
Came out great.
Used chicken thighs instead of breast because they have a bit more flavor, if a bit tougher.
