What have you recently eaten?

Mongolian Beef with some rice. It's a nice pile of leftovers from the Chinese place I sometimes get stuff from.
 
They built a Chick Fil A near my house, so we went. I'd only ever been there one other time about five years ago. Anyway, I do not understand why they have such a cult following. It was...okay.

Depends on what you had; I think their spicy sandwich and their soup is pretty good. Nuggets, not so much.

Speaking of poultry, I had Spanish stir fry, chicken being the meat, noodles, rice, bell peppers, and other shit being the not-meat.
 
Thai coconut soup I just reheated from a month ago with huge shrimp in it.

I had the original sandwich with their barbecue sauce. The waffle fries were decent, I'll say that, but their ketchup containers were too small to dip waffle fries in easily. (I was also annoyed that they didn't clear their sidewalk of ice and, like, I get you're a Southern chain, but surely you've heard of salt.)
 
This year my family decided to do Mexican food for Christmas Eve. I've had pork tamales and chili con carne with queso quesadilla and crema Mexicana and guacamole, and that was before we started doing shots of tequila chased with toronja Jarritos. Tomorrow is going to be fun...

Wawa near me started doing burritos. Sorta chiplote-ish but a little smaller, grilled like a 7-Eleven sandwich I think.

Really good. If they offered more customization I'd probably get them a lot.

I made strawberry jello salad for Christmas and it was delicious, I ate three servings last night.
 
I made some big ol' greasy cheeseburgers and now am having a few fancy truffles before I kick off my theoretical "starting to eat healthy tomorrow".

Reheated cheesesteak sans roll. It's shockingly good since it's basically so greasy that it wasn't dry.
 
Last night I ate sushi like I usually do on New Year's Eve. It was from a new Japanese restaurant which was really good.
