What have you recently eaten?

So I've had pretty much fuckall to eat most of the day and I'm just now sitting down with a roast beef sandwich and something to drink. It's ginger root beer. I figured "this is either going to be terrible or amazing" and... it's neither. It's ok. Ginger is barely noticeable. Bit wintergreeny but not too bad. Not particularly creamy, not much of a head.

Also trying to figure out why the mustard I had in my cabinet turned such a dark brown.

Someone at work had a birthday, store bought cake. Yellowish with strawberry and lemon filling. Nice enough cake.

Golden Corral takeout. Chicken tendies, a bit of pulled pork, and a bit of their fried fish.

Not bad.

I need to eat something but I seriously can't peel myself away from the computer. It's not even being a dipshit on KF, it's filling out applications, attaching resumes and bookmarking shit and moving on to the next thing.

Guess I'll go make a sandwich.

Cauliflower and chickpea masala. I'm about 8 hours away from talking a shit on the street.

The only Indian food I've eaten are things I've cooked, and this masala made me want to go to a legit Indian restaurant. I love the heat and the strange mix of floral spices.

This was good

Most of one of those Costco rotisserie chickens. Quite tasty and a good buy for five bucks.

Leftover vegetable lo mein with a fried egg. I drizzled it with a bit of sesame oil on top.

Used being out looking for Hiring signs as an excuse to stop by this one pizzeria. Got 2 slices of something with a fuckton of veggies (including zucchini, that was interesting) and some Italian sausage. Fucking amazing, holy shit. Will probably tide me over for the rest of the day.

I like their tortilla chicken/cheese/vegetable rounds. Get 2 pounds, or 12 rounds, for $10.

For breakfast had 12 ounces milk, four fried eggs, six mini-donuts, two bananas, and four ounces of blueberries. A nice, big, balanced meal.

Basic weeknight fare: Lentils, peppers, cherry tomatoes, periperi sauce, blob of low fat soft cheese. Took about 5 min to cook and used up veg out of the fridge. 🤷‍♂️
Paired with a budget Chilean merlot.

Had a Chicken Parmesan at the Olive Garden.

All of the free shit was delicious but the entre was terrible. Basically a chicken strip with a spaghetti that tasted only slightly better than Chef Boyarde.

2/5.
