What have you recently eaten?

I'm not sure why I did, probably morbid curiosity and stupidity, it but I've made 'cauliflower fried rice' earlier today.
It's not the worst I've ever eaten, but not really filling and just bland. Back to my usual brand of rice I go.

If anyone's looking for a 'low-ish carb' replacement for rice that's also low in calories, I think it's possible to get used to it.
I've had cauliflower rice and cauliflower mashed potatoes. Not very good, quite bland, but not actually bad. Just depressing. I'd rather just eat blatantly healthy foods than try to trick myself.

These were amazing. Nuri sardines are highly revered in the tinned fish appreciation community because they are canned in a traditional way and by hand with fresh fish by a generationally owned family business. Worth the hype. Here's a great short clip explaining the Portuguese art of sardine canning, and how they can Nuri sardines.

I am back on my low-carb diet and I make cauliflower rice a lot. If I am making fried "rice" I always make it with kimchi. The older kimchi which is basically on life support as it makes the best fried rice and stew.

Just had some skyr with peaches.
My current 'idfk what else to eat, so imma eat this'-food that I've been eating for weeks on an almost daily basis now.

Ugh, went out a few hours ago with the intention of getting a couple slices of pizza from a decent NY style joint near me -- it somehow ended up with me getting some grocery store tuna rolls, a couple tangerines and a container of korean rice snacks. The tuna rolls were mediocre (of course), the rice snacks didn't have enough spice, at least the tangerines were easy to peel and perfectly ripe, saved the whole thing really.

I ate something similar to what I saw in a movie. Took some white bread, poured some Triple Sec over it, poured milk and sugar over that, and ate it like cereal.

It was surprisingly better than I thought.

12 grilled Chick-fil-a nuggets and a bowl of Quaker protein oatmeal (made with whole milk of course). Been getting into the habit of going to the gym and trying to get enough protein is hard.
