The other day I went down to the candy store and bought one of those suckers with bugs in them. I went with a strawberry pop with a cricket but they also had ants and mealworms all in various fruit flavors. I've heard that crickets and grasshoppers taste like popcorn, and you know what? They totally do. And much like popcorn, little bits get stuck to your throat on the way down. But overall it wasn't a bad treat, I want to try the mealworm one next. And I would totally try roasted seasoned crickets on their own, given the chance.

Its a bit cheesy, and you can taste the corn and mushroom of course. I highly recommend it! The taste is very fine. I tried it without anything and on a tortilla with guacamole, thats so fantastic!

My home cured salmon is now being produced in industrial quanities due to the amounts of cheap salmon flooding the christmas market on clearance prices. I also found out that pre seasoned salmon works perfectly if im feeling ultra lazy and I got insanely good flavours from some chilli/citrus pre seasoned salmon fillets

In the new year I plan on expanding this operation with
a) homemade bagels for lox purposes
b) homemade sushi for weeb purposes

I am also experimentally curing some pork belly for bacon creation though I suspect I may have messed up the cure for that. Will report back when its finished to tell yall how it was
