Man I wish we could just ban them in general outside of work hours.
Everyone has become way more disorganised and less committed to actually engaging in commitments with Mobile phones. Oldfag enough to remember pre-Mobile days and if you said you were going to be somewhere, you had to be there because if you weren't, you were leaving someone hanging with no explanation and it will be a big drama, now people just message you 2 minutes before the meetup and you're already almost there that they can't make it.
My friends hate it that I refuse to pick up my phone, once the commitment has been made, but I make a point of it on purpose, because I'm sick of everyone being so flighty when the time finally fucking comes.
And that is my deep thought, ban the fucking shit out of smartphones out of work hours and see everyone go back to actually committing to what they fucking promised.

It kinda does. If you let water just sit out in a bottle or cup it gets gross and things start growing in it. Drinking stagnant water can give you the runs, so can drinking spoiled milk.

I can live without social media; use straight up email just like in the cyberpunk 2077 game.
Unfortunately, the internet is critical with my line of work. Sometimes, I wish I can return back to being a wage cuck for the service industry.
 
What if the Internet existed, but it remained a niche for Nerds and Autists?

I think even older generations would be affected, a lot of older people have picked up on computers/internet and started to depend on them. I think of my family, they all consume it.
 
What If... one the newer Thunderdomers unlocked the other stickied thread to add/edit/remove/clarify stuff from the retired staffers for 5 years ago or longer? What would you want to see? What do you want mods to know who don't frequent this board?
 
What if the the Coof had a mortality rate of 10% in healthy 18-42 year olds?

Dont be a salty bitch

From what I've seen most of these threads are attended to on a current timeframe - most people dont look deep into the thread to see whats previously posted. Its all about whats been posted 'today'. I dont think a lot of folks are very invested in the subfoum. I think most of them use it as a nice break from the main threads about the lolcows

maybe i've misunderstood you're 'what if' but kinda dont think i have
 
If you want to get into heaven you don't necessarily need to be a good person you just need to know your place and be pleasant/interesting enough to everyone around you but most importantly god (or for whatever entity acting as god (life very well may be a simulation))
