Containment What If?

Re: What if a movie based off Chris came to the theaters?

I could see a lifetime movie of Chris's life being made, that white washes all his bad points.

It would have little inaccuracies I bet, like mashing sagas together, maybe make Blue Spike and Jackie the same person, and rearranging events for dramatic effect. It would probably portray Chris as a victim of cyber bullying, (well more so then he was). And it would make Micheal Snyder (whose name they would change for legal reasons) a jerk who doesn't like Autistic people.

The plot would just be too implausible.

Nay, any general story has the potential to be good. It's really a matter of finding a professional who can take the story and make something good of it, and working around the problems I addressed in my previous post.

Like many movie franchises, Chris' life could be a trilogy/tetralogy/even more. Each saga can be its own installment with plenty of needless filler.

If it's going to be split up by saga, then it'd be better off as a miniseries or TV show. With the exception of the more longer sagas (Megan) or the more eventful ones (Liquid), there probably isn't enough story in the majority of the sagas to warrant a 90+ minute movie.

...Although as I type this, I realize a movie solely about the Liquid saga could work really well. It's got a beginning (Chris discovering someone parodying him, and flipping his shit over it), a middle (The sing-star challenge and all the other rivalry stuff), an end (Liquid and Kacey's big wedding, Solid crying about it, but then cheering up after supposedly getting a copyright on Sonichu) and it's even got a neo-love-trangle in the form of Kacey. Plus so many other little things that could be great on screen!

Actually, I was thinking they'd make him a woman beating, Autistic hating, dog killing bastard. And he'd try to run over Chris and Barb (as opposed to the other way around).

but then again, Lifetime movies tend to be really unpredictable when it comes to their men. Maybe they would make him worse, who knows?

But in my opinion, I'd like to see them make a documentary starring Micheal Moore exploring into the Chandler family and their "dark" past.

For those of you unaware, the "Red Pill" movement is a subculture of guys who have essentially tried to elevate misogyny, entitlement and jerkishness into a philosophy . The basic idea is to be as manipulative, emotionless and cold as possible to score china ("being alpha"), rather than being, you know, a decent person ("beta"). What if Chris started subscribing to the theories of Red Pill?

Wouldn't matter. He still wouldn't get any sex. Plus, I imagine Anna and all his female facebook friends would be none to happy with him.

People who take terms from the Matrix and apply them to their everyday lives? I'm sorry, I'm immediately lumping them in together as impressionable idiots. A philosophy should be something that you mold your life around, not something that you fart out to justify being an ass.

And Chris couldn't be a redpiller. He likes the pity too much.

This and the fact that he hates men (other than himself/ family) more than he hates women. Isn't the core motive of Red-pillers to have much more respect for men than women?

Mind you, if Chris at any point in the future goes around claiming to be one just for a new identity (not unlike his transformation into a tomgirl) and just to shout to the world how fed up he is with :heart-empty:, it really wouldn't surprise me that much.

Pretty much, although to be more accurate red-pillers see women as more subhuman or even below a dog; they don't get respect at all.

If you're male, you get respect if you're "alpha as fuck," which consists of acting like a misogynistic douchebag as much as possible.

Could CWC be a red-piller? Maybe, but it's an unlikely maybe. He certainly whines like one.
