Hmm... if he is losing weight, I agree with Marvin- it's probably because of money. He's still clearly eating poorly because of how wan he looks, but that's to be expected. Sadly enough, eating right can be fairly expensive depending on how you go about it. I don't see Chris having any true cooking skills beyond heating up stuff (can't) and Barb wouldn't be making anything (probably a mixture of can't and won't). You can eat healthy on a budget, but it involves a lot of cooking your own meals.

That and Barb probably needs as much room as she can to build Hoard 2.0 so the kitchen probably won't be accessible...

What if the government forces Cole to take care of Chris, after Barb dies?

Chris moves in with Cole and they start reviewing movies together. "Bastard and Asstard at the Movies" is the name of the show. It becomes a hit on the interwebs due to Chris' celebrity and Cole knows the fame that has been eluding him. I guess this would be kind of like a modified "Rain Man."

I don't think they can actually do that seeing as Chris is an adult.

Sure he doesn't act like it, but from a legal standpoint he can look after himself, even taking his Autism into account.

And if that fails, Cole could always say he can't cope with that kind of pressure, especially as he hasn't talked to Chris in years. At that point Chris will become a hobo or if he tard rages while getting kicked out, he's going to a psychiatric ward, or if the bailiffs are as incompetent as Greene County, the morgue.

What if Chris were to get off his ass and try to get a job? What positions would really be open to him?

That's impossible, granted, but this is a "what if" thread after all.
