Containment What If?

Alright, I'll be spergy and write up a semi-serious scenario:

Let's say that while Cole and his fiancée were planning for their wedding, she notices that two key players are missing: Snorlax and OPL Cole's mom and half bro. (He probably has told her about them at some point, i.e. she asked about them or he told her of his own choice.) Instead of the event happening as it did - no invites for :c and :snorlax: - perhaps she wanted, in a totally well meaning way, for Cole to make amends with them? A wedding is seen as a huge event in a person's life, and family involvement is par the course. So (most likely) reluctantly, Cole allows her to send two invites to 14BC.

And then Charb defies all expectations by replying with RSVPs.

So, just what the hell would happen if our two heroes are invited to hear wedding bells toll? DIRTY CRAPPED TUXEDOS? The invention of q-wedding cake slices?

At the reception, Barb would guilt trip Cole, which would do nothing because Cole is immune to Barb's manipulation. Chris would imitate Barb and possibly tardrage.

Barb would try to guilt Cole back into her life while Chris ate cake and stared at the bridesmaids too long. Barb would fail. Chris would be full.

Both of them would be the weirdest standouts there, especially Chris. As GNOP said, Barb would probably try to guilt trip Cole into coming back home and taking care of her and Chris would try and fail to back her up. Both of them would end up tard raging (or for Barb, crazy redneck raging) and probably get asked to leave.

All the guests would be making Facebook status updates about it, and maybe even taking pictures and video.

Snap chat is retarded and I'll never get how it caught on.

I think because in theory, you don't have any commitment to the pictures because they're deleted from the server after viewing and you can see if someone screencapped it. So you can send people stuff that's more sensitive than normal (pretty much just porn) without worrying about them having a copy.

In theory. In reality, there are many apps that save snaps before you open them and let you surreptitiously save them without any warning at all.

Cole's bride would be a runaway bride. Would you want Barb and Chris as your in-laws?

First, they'd turn up with a McDonalds they'd bought on the way, Chris would be wearing the prettiest dress he could dig out of goodwill, and they'd take an entire table to themselves because they can't find a wheelie bin for Barb to lean against. He'd spend most of the night with his head buried in his DS, whilst Barb fills her purse with napkins and table ornaments. When the buffet starts, Chris would complain loudly about the food not being to his liking. and eventually they'll both try to turn the whole event into their own bitching session and demand Cole and wife put their lives on hold to look after them. They will be asked to leave, and Barb will come back after getting a used McDonalds cup from the floor of the car to put her unfinished drink in. The police will eventually be called and Chris will end up get handcuffed yet again.

If Chris and Barb had gotten invited to the wedding, they probably (scratch that, most likely) will try to cause drama. All from Barb trying to get Cole to abandon his life to care for her, Chris begging him to do so just to stalk more innocent women like a caveman. So, they would use Cole's special day and make it all about themselves. What I am curious about is how the other family members (from Cole's side) would react to them; and they would probably question him as to why he invited them, and Barb and Chris would cause a scene if they were ignored.
