Containment What If?

Here's a better question....

How was the Continental Army able to win despite having Chandlers and Westons serving in it?

The Christory Museum - Filled with artifacts (such as the excellent Sonic totem) and more Christorical Stuff.

People laugh at Chris for thinking people are "jealous" of his possessions, but to fully understand what he means you mist first imagine yourself as an 8-year-old when you look at his room for the first time. What would little kid you say? "Look at all these Pokemon dolls"? Or maybe "Gosh, I've never even seen this many games before"? Hell, some kids didn't even have their own rooms around that age.

Now, returning to the present world, remember that how childishly excited you were by this stuff is the same way Chris views it today. Because Chris will always that little kid, giddy with excitement over adding something cool to his toy collection, somewhere under the surface.

A CWC Museum would be nice!

Someone please fund it!
If 14 Branchland Court became the museum, then it wouldn't cost too much to fund the CWC Museum. All thats needed is some maintenance, cleaning, and someone to watch over it.

I wouldn't want any of his material stuff, cuz I'm not really into Sonic and Pokémon. Actually I would take the Transformers if they were properly disinfected.

Depends on what part of Japan he was in. The trend in less urban parts of Japan tends towards giving foreigners a pretty wide berth, and their English would probably be too poor to converse with him for long even if someone tried to strike up a conversation.
In a city or larger tourist center, he might not look so out of place, and people are more likely to try testing out their English on foreigners. Still, I highly doubt anyone would approach him of their own free will -- being overweight and looking unkempt aren't any more attractive features in Japan than they are in the US.
There are some signs and stuff in English, and there's fast food, so like it was mentioned, odds are he wouldn't starve to death. If he had the good sense to keep a guide book with him, he might not get totally lost (but when has he ever had good sense?).

Chris would reinforce all the negative stereotypes the Japanese have of the gaijin.

And possibly create new ones. He'd probably eat Miku-dan-aluds, and buy Sonic stuff, old Chris would have passed around Sonichu hand drawns to people on the trains. He would probably ask what part of town Korea was in too.

So we all know Chris has been babied and sheltered his entire life. Something I've been thinking of is how he would handle being in a crisis situation, like if a massive wildfire rolled through Virginia, an F5 or F1 tornado or whatever hit Ruckersville, zombie apocalypse, famine, FEMA, etc. How would he handle under pressure? I know it seems superficially obvious, he'd break like an egg and shit himself, but I think there's possibility that he may act differently. Knowing their life is at risk can bring out the hidden side of a lot of people, potentially compelling them to do things that they would normally never do for the sake of survival.

What if the adrenaline and mortal danger sort of 'wakes up' the survivalist in him? What do you all think?

He's at least intelligent enough to recognize a serious threat to his life, so my guess is that he'd just flee from danger.
That said, Chris still seems extremely used to receiving instructions from people, and his life has been in stasis for several years now. Without the benefit of people telling him where to go and what to do he'd probably be pretty lost.

It'd rise up angainst him and troll him to death.
That is course, if he zctually puts forth the effort, and doesn't (:_( or :briefs:

Assuming enough infrastructure remained intact, he'd probably survive. He'd hate not having access to video games in a disaster shelter, and he'd probably :briefs: a lot, but he'd survive.

If things really went to shit (a strategic nuke hits C-Ville, for instance), he'd die without society's infrastructure.

He would enjoy it but only for a few hours because he would whine about not getting a Japanese sweetheart.

I think he would do what other people would do: Flee away or hide in a safe place.

He would spend more time playing his vidya then looking for a sweetheart.
