a&h is the abbreviation for articles and happenings.
back in the day, there was a user who was notorious for posting outrageous articles that were found in all sorts of fucked up niches online. over time, as more sites censored and banned users for wrongthink, the types of articles being posted on the farms shifted from absurd and awkward, to ... something else.
in the wake of the christchurch shootings, and again during the summer of 2020, great masses of internet refugees flocked to the farms seeking asylum. as a result, the demographics of the community shifted significantly, and the posts in a&h specifically were becoming a liability for the farms. the autistic thunderdome and it's subforums have since evolved as a sort of containment, with 'articles & news' (a&n) intended for small incidents, 'happenings' intended for extended or ongoing incidents, and 'mass debates' intended for the exceptional individuals who insist on derailing threads with their personal ideologies.
