What is it with the Left and food?

I'll bet you do. But I don't care if you lie to me. Lying to yourself is a little tacky though.
I have no idea what my party at whole is thinking, right now. I know all about Biden, and the Reps that I voted for or against, but I can't be expected to follow what my party as an entity is up to. I'm your split ticket bastard child. I like moderates. Because they tend to be better at the compromise, and more likely to make Government work.

Oh, I guess you haven't heard of AOC or the "mean Congress girls club"? Pelosi? Clinton? None of those names ring a bell?

BLM? Antifa?

How about CHOP?

My opinion on the stupid anarchists club has been made clear in many other threads.

Clinton was so unpopular, that she lost her own election. And the AOC club does not define my party any more than Christine O'Donnell defined the Republican party in Delaware.

Castle was a long standing moderate Republican who lost the primary to that vapid Tea Party bitch, and because nothern Delaware has a large blue constituent, Coons, a Democrat, won the Senate seat vacated by Biden.

Pelosi has done her job. She seemed loathe to impeach the President, because, as much as she may personally despise him, she knew it would not pass the Senate. The House pushed her hand.

Then you're an independent whos original party left them behind.

Trust me, I fucking feel that.

I'm not going to abandon my party, simply because some commie idiots built a fort and tried to bully everyone out.

Your party is basically being split by an internal civil between the more progressive candidates vs the Clinton Neo-Liberal. There has been campaigns like justice democrats that have aimed to primary long standing members in order to get in more progressive candidates. The progressive base is filled with younger voters and stand almost in complete opposition to many groups like the Alt-right who are populist right wing movements. The progressive have a problem where like the extreme right they seem to be puritans and although they idolize people FDR seem to miss the point about him having to work and compromise with ideological enemies and was only good at passing legislation because his amazing negotiation skills. This is why you will see people like AOC be berated online for making concession. That's the general going on of the democrats they have to either replace the old guard to secure the future minority and young voters or hope those people vote for them in a vote against the right wing.

TLDR The democrats are stuck trying to juggle between their old voter base and their new leftist/socialist voter base.

I guess that's commendable but I would not understand I could never stand the Republicans or the Democrats because their foreign policies seemed hawkish. Although I understood the geopolitical reasons some times they seemed way to expedient with their action because the U.S. has been alone at the top until the recent growth of China and Russia.

What's the deal with Leftist food?

If you are a regular working class person living in a city, mass immigration holds little practical upshot for you. It drives up the cost of rent, leads to overcrowding and drives down the price of labour. The left uses "think of all the good food" because they don't have a real answer for how mass immigration and cultural diversity actually benefit the working classes.

Also because the people who use that argument tend to suffer from Dunning-Kruger and think anyone who disagrees with them is literally retarded, which is why they feel extremely clever making an argument that can be debunked with, "I can make my own burrito."

They're usually entitled and indulgent, so it goes to reason they will liken things to their indulgences, food happens to be a universally acceptable indulgence most can relate to.

"Paying people slave wages is fine as long as I get something that interests me for a few seconds." I thought that's what (((certain people))) groomed those defenders to be like. IDK, I'm tired.

It's because lamebrained consoomers are attracted to leftism cause its hip and popular and for no other reason. These people dont lool into anything behind the woke crap they hear about, they just champion it for popularity stickers. They often have no hobbies or personality above consuming whatever is popular at the time so they dont go full woke and actually inconvenience themselves in some way by experiencing another culture first hand. Instead they go the easiest route available and just go get food from some south american peninsula they never heard of before and call themselves cultured.

I disagree. The continued production of crops and livestock is the lifeblood of this country. People can put up with many things, but when they get hungry, that is when wars start. Understanding that a country is run best on its full belly is paramount to any political argument.
Which is why those jobs should go to Americans.

the idea of opening up a packet of seeds to grow these avocados and strawberries is unfathomable.
The goddamn turnaround time from seed to fruit is not fucking worth it for strawberries, especially when you have to defend the stupid things from rodents and bugs. Man what a hassle. Meanwhile, you can't kill a potato or onion if you tried, and the damn things grow inside, outside, upside-down, in a cupboard, it's crazy.
