What movie did you see recently?

Some shitty horror movie called Delirium with Topher Grace. It was really dumb and contrived and nothing happened. And it made absolutely no sense.

I watched Sausage Party. I had been curious about it when it was in the cinema, but never got around to seeing it until it was released to Netflix recently.

I am so glad I did not waste money to go and see this on the big screen. Seth Rogan and his gang of fellow druggie chuckle heads are hit and miss, and this movie was definitely one of their worse misses. It was unfunny, obnoxious, and about as subtle as a fucking sledgehammer. Avoid at all costs, and instead try Pineapple Express or The Interview where those guys hit it out of the park instead.

The roommates are making me watch Fifty Shades of Grey right now (I kid you not....ugh...)

Earlier I watched I Am Sam and Please Stand By.

The last movie I went to see in our movie theatre was: Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1.

Liz And Dick. My favorite "so bad it's funny" movie. Watching Lindsay Lohan try to play Elizabeth Taylor is always entertaining.

Logan Lucky. It was a highly entertaining heist movie that was like a southern Ocean's Eleven (appropriate that it's the same director). I regret not seeing it in the theater now.

Requiem for A Dream. It starts off a bit slow and then builds up to this huge drug-fuelled trainwreck in which none of the main characters emerge unscathed. The mother's ending destroyed me - got to the bit where her friends see her after she's been committed and started crying with them.

Aronofsky's filming techniques for conveying the disorientation and chaos surrounding his characters was really effective. I'll definitely give Mother! a watch at some point.

Saw Balder’s Gait actually talk about a good heist movie so I wanna talk about a bad heist movie I saw

Hurricane heist was a movie I heard was bad but the family rented it so I decided to watch with them. It’s a foreign french movie and you can’t tell for the most till the script uses a english word that doesn’t mean what the actor’s trying to convey.
The acting overall but especially for the bad guys (the two “witty” hacker couple comes to mind) was actually terrible and the film is just all over the place with it’s plot and logic- like the hacker couples hacks THE BANK’S SHREDDERS-like YOU CAN’T HACK A SHREDDER. I was almost laughing crying cause the movie treated hacking like it was fucking magic.
The accents are pretty bad too.
Best part about the movie is the laughable cgi action and the skull that appears out of the hurricane’s cloud to remind one of the leading character of the film’s Twister-ese opening were his dad was killed by a rolling grain mill (it looks as stupid as it sounds) during hurricane andrew.

But with all that it’s still a boring movie on it’s own but it’s prime for some good roasting moments.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado

It starts off strong, and I like how they focused on human trafficking in contrast to the first movie focusing on drugs, but it fizzles out in the third act and lacks the polish of the excellent first film (man, I really hope they bring back Villenueve for the third movie).

Saw Ant Man and The Wasp. Pretty damn great film.

FUCK that mid credits scene though. I knew it was going to happen eventually but... FUCK.

I saw Uncle Buck, it was alright, girl was hot, guy was not.

I tried watching Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I should love this movie, it's all the dumb bullshit I love, but bad teen dialogue is my Kryptonite. Could only make it 20 min before I was completely turned off

I just got a copy of Prophecy (1979)
It's about a giant killer mutant bear in the woods. For a movie from 79 the bear monster doesn't look too bad, also it as one of the best sleeping bag deaths ever.
