What old as fuck game should I play after I build my high end PC?

Police Quest 4. It sounds like he's talking to himself the entire time because of how the narrator addresses the player, and it's delightfully racist/homophobic/transphobic. Everyone in the classic adventure game community who whinges about it being problematic is a virtue signaling retard.

Not usually into graphic adventure games, but that rooftop Korean is making me want to play Police Quest 4.

That skinbyrd seems really OP
Yeah at the end of the day it's still a by the book police simulator, so you fuck up anything and boom, game over (lol you do a LOT of paperwork). Despite all that autism it really does have a lot of charm, it's a whole vibe from the dialogue to the music to the chunky pixelated scans of photos/video footage making up the backgrounds/animation.

I highly recommend it for either play or LP watch through (though fair warning, any/everyone doing a LP of the game that isn't entirely silent will interrupt the flow to constantly sperg out about how politically incorrect a particular scene is at each and every "ism" violation, as well as just randomly to vilify the involvement of Daryl F Gates. All the virtue signally really sours all the LP's out there, at least the ones I've seen).

The game deserves more respect, it's more technically impressive, better written/animated/programmed than the prior three Police Quests by far as far as I'm concerned. PQ1 is a clunky parser driven adventure so a classic, as is PQ2 more or less, but PQ3 was a totally missed shot that could have been great but was rushed and confusing shitshow of a game that just kind of suddenly ends (plus the terrible driving mechanic that made 99% of players rage quit).

The VGA remake of PQ1 was ass and entirely unnecessary. PQ4 gets all the hate for being politically incorrect and ditching the tired Sonny Bonds cardboard cutout protagonist, but I'd argue it was the first chance to revive the franchise (instead we got SWAT which is a mixed bag depending on who you ask).

The gold standard for how good your PC is used to be how well or if you could run Crysis. So I suggest playing Lemmings.

Oh I got one, both for how good it is, and how much of a pain in the ass it is to run on modern systems, MW2 and Mercs need a fuckton of weird patches and workarounds to run right on anything that isn't Win95 for some reason.
