The funniest scenario for me would be: Trump wins popular vote and gets 2nd term. He picks Bernie as a vice president, then resigns because he's bored of being president and he likes shocking people, so Bernie's president. Weirdly enough, the one to die of a heart-attack during debates is the youngest candidate.

But seriously, Bernie getting the nomination would be enough. Just checking his 2020 run announcement on Youtube, seeing all the people claiming to give him money (and unlike 90% of Youtube comments, I have reason to believe these are true), is plenty of humor for me...even if it's rather sad.

For me personally, nothing could be funnier than Orange Man getting a second term.

Remember back in 2015 when the entire American left wing had a collective shitfit? Bluechecks on suicide watch, riots in the streets, Clinton supporters self immolating, might have made that last one up, but still. So now imagine that, but now democrats have to cope with the fact that they've lost twice, and now they have to live under the scary bigoted Nazi Drumpf regime for another 4 years.

The salt will be magnificent.

I live in a part of the country that's both very liberal, and very brown. There were riots all across the county during both election night and the inauguration. So I fully expected my city to be razed to the ground come Nov. 3rd. I just hope I'll remember to buy popcorn in advance.

Bloomberg winning the nomination, just because of all the fucking salt from the Dems that now have to vote for someone they absolutely hate.
Even better if he then loses to the Orange Oligarch. That`s bound to cause a few suicides on the left...

fucking bloombot sent me messages about how i plan to support his campaign. I bugged it out by posting "PewdiePie says the Nword" link 30 times in a row and it kept saying. "Bye niggernerd" "are you planning on voting for Bloomberg" "goodbye, niggernerd" "are you planning on voting for Bloomberg" repeat for like 2 hours until i had to mute and block it.

Speaking of which, how about...
Bloomberg wins the primary and keeps bombarding the public with ads during the general election and Trump responds by promoting Adblock on Twitter and during the debates. Trump wins with massive independent turnout in his favor because normies are so fucking annoyed by Bloomberg's ads.

He's also pushing the exact stuff that's going to mobilize Trump supporters against him and ensure they turn out in force in the general election. Gun control. Unrestricted immigration. Implying that Trump and his base are teh ebil raycists who must be defeated. Nothing that would convince someone to cross the aisle, like job creation, curtailing tech monopolies, or defending free speech. I know it's normal to lean more extreme in the primaries, it but seems like Boomsperg is overdoing it in the wrong areas. He seems to think the entire country has attitudes like New York City. In a lot of places gun control isn't even that popular among more left leaning people. It's a bad horse to back because overall the right cares about keeping guns more than the left cares about taking them.
 
If Trump wins, he'll be empowered to do anything he wants, forever, enjoy him trying to find some way of serving a third term/Dear Leader for life. I'm not saying he'll succeed, but he won't want to admit it's his last term. If Bernie gets the nomination and wins, enjoy having your country run by a doddery old man who doesn't actually know what he's doing. Trump is sowing the seeds of a massive economic downturn by bubbling the shit out of your economy which won't last forever. Bernie will bring that on quicker by taxing the fuck out of the super rich causing them to move as much money outside the US as they can.

The way I see it is this: Trump wins, he spends 4 years doing not much. His tax policy further bubbles the economy and he leave the presidency having created a 'boom' of jobs and money and spends a few years proclaiming himself the best President ever and then blaming the inevitable burst of that bubble on whoever comes after him. It'll be funny, because Trump on twitter is funny. He's like a 5 year old who the teacher has declared King of the playground.

Bernie wins: He makes a ton of policies attacking big business, the economy hemorrhages money as the US rich move everything they can overseas to avoid it. After his term, there's another conservative rebound and a boring, unimaginative republican gets voted in.
