Fuck that hobo. Unless it's drastically different in Eastern Europe, food is the easiest shit for homeless people to obtain; charities, soup kitchens, churches, people who feel charitable but don't want to give them crack money. I've seen hobos turn down food being offered to them because they just don't need it.

Breaking a pigeon's wings so you can carry it around for a snack later is cruel. You try to minimize an animal's suffering if you can, even if you plan to eat it; hunters are supposed to track an animal they've injured but not killed just so it's not wandering around wounded and in pain. Also a pigeon is going to be filthy, disease-ridden, and full of literal trash. He could swipe a $1 bag of chips and it'd probably have more nutritional value, be less likely to give him a parasite, and I think anyone on earth would prefer petty theft to animal torture.

Also, and this is unrelated to the pigeon question, but the homeless should be hunted for sport. Just wanted to add that important factor.

Yeah I'm not going to risk getting stabbed by a hobo over flying rat. Fuck pidgeons. If it was a kitten or puppy my reaction would probably be different.
I'll go with the option of just watching the shit show unfold.

Thanks for the replies, kiwifrens. According to the poll, most of you would also not have done anything, so I don't feel too bad about my inaction. After thinking some more on the matter and seeing what others here have written, it is clear that the homeless person was not acting humanely. If I could go back in time now, I would have supported the soyboy, and tried to get the bird freed and looked after at the veterinarian. Also thanks for the jokes and the pigeon recipes that were also posted lol
