I've got a general question. Awhile back on a MATI episode Null said if you're gonna take supplements then get em from the EU or Israel because of their stricter regulations and that stuff made in the USA has a shit load of filler.

My Mom has macular degeneration and she wants to get some supplements that supposedly can help it. Anyone know a site to buy them from those 2 places or some general advice towards the topic?

Just get a reputable brand on Amazon like Thorne or Pure Encapsulations. More affordable stuff from NOW is probably fine.

General advice: Smoking, drinking, doing drugs, not exercising, not getting enough quality sleep, eating like shit, and being a big fat fatty are going to destroy your health. Supplements can help but aren't going to come close to the benefits of healthy lifestyle changes.

I started with Fish Oil and now simply have the doc write a prescription for Lovaza, which is fish oil also but higher quality.

I found the cheap Fish Oil made your mouth smell like fish and your bowel movements smell horrible also with the farts.

Vitamin with Iron also. It's often sold as a women's vitamin but Iron is important with men also.

I take mood pills, vitamins d & k pills, and protein powders.

Iso 100 and isopure zero carb are the best imo.

Nutritious, easy to digest, and tastes good. 👌

600mg calcium-D3 on awakening
300mg calcium-D3 at a chosen hour some time later (when it's right)
One scoop L-glutamine at lunchtime (currently questioning whether it's needed)
Extremist meditation practices begin here
Half pill B2 and 1000MG histidine (rare!) before nap
Grapefruit juice to potentiate Ambien, and Ambien
If I have consumed too much calcium I need to masturbate for my nap
Nap while listening to music
Awaken, boost calcium if needed
Kids protein bars whenever hunger confusion arises
Grapefruit+ambien whenever posture confusion arises
Meditate for intelligent activities or media consumption
Moderate-to-high vodka consumption before sleep, maintains alcoholic nutrient depletionism
Meditate for sleep
Awaken at 3am and eat Vitamin C to cancel out histidine
Finish sleep as does align my bodily posture

And then it is a new day!

a few weeks back I had run out of glucosamine/condroitan, figured I'd just gut it out a few days and just bike seven miles a day like usual, do setup and takedown for a bunch of heavy shit at a live event and so forth
ho. lee. shit.
I expected to just feel meh for three days before I got by Costco on Sunday. I didn't get there until Monday evening, by which point it was like a mix of that Star Trek where they get older each day and literally benzo withdrawl
if I hadn't been biking and shit it probably wouldn't have been so bad but damn did I feel a lot more like in my forties than I usually do

Also something called Focus Factor, which I bought in an effort to survive the 3.5 weeks it took for my pharmacy to get in adderall last month, and apparently in the last couple of years the racetams I used to take (oxiracetam was my preferred) became illegal (?!). It is mostly a multi along with a blend of gingko biloba, dmae, bacopa, ginseng, etc. I won't get it again. I don't need more vitamins and I have no idea how much of the supplements are in this. I think I'll go back to individual supplements; I've liked lions mane and French maritime pine bark and have been interested in some of the different cordyceps/mushrooms beyond the lions mane.

I need some fish oil that isn't fishy. Can't stand that stuff, but it's good for eye health, which I am attuned to.

Also use protein powder sometimes for a shake with milk, with a scoop of collagen, some flax or hemp seed, chia seeds and/or wheatgrass.

Also think I'm going to start some glucosamine and turmeric.

This turned out to be a useful exercise to organize my thoughts, instead of the constant, vaguely nagging "I need to figure that out" hanging around in the back of my mind all the time.

that shit gets prescribed as hard as morphine here
how are you Amerifats getting so much amphetamine in you so easily
Well, friend, I cannot speak for everyone, but for me it was for good reason, and it - along with other, more self-directed efforts - aids to support managing/improving the concern for which it was intended.

And as for "Amerifats" - again speaking personally - a) not fat, and b) it doesn't suppress my appetite all that much (nor have I chunked up when not taking it, which I suppose is some sort of indirect/ inverse evidence of its poor appetite suppressant effect on me). So no, not an unofficial and insured diet program, if that's what you're getting at.

I also have a kid who has been (reasonably, prudently) prescribed it but opted out, because it interfered with sleep, and the benefit/detriment impact weighed toward not utilizing it. Point: again, not speaking for everyone, but as for me and mine, it's not a mindless quest for unneeded speed.
