The UK's first mistake was the Act of Union with Scotland. Scots are notorious libtards. Heck they bankrupted their entire country in the Darien scheme where they wanted to build a colony in the swamps of Panama.

Why are the so-called Conservatives unable to reverse a single Blair policy, then? The only political controversy in the UK seems to be who can implement Blairism the hardest and fastest, so it must be wonderfully popular.

It's not popular it's just that the two major parties have been infected to the core with it and anyone who wants to move away from it like Truss (a moron but at least she had a half arsed go) either never leaves the back benches or is ousted pretty quick and the electorate are too dumb to realise they can vote for someone else hence why Labour are going to win a landslide despite the fact that they'll do everything the working classes are voting the Tories out for doing but more because hur dur the blue blairites are bad now better vote for red blairites and in a decade vote for the blue ones again while moaning about nothing ever changing.

Pet theory, everything is downstream of demographics. Europe took over the world not through technology or disease resistance or whatever, but because it had an exponentially growing population. Now the situation is flipped and politics/culture/etc will inevitably realign to reflect this. Blaming a specific politician is like the feather Indians blaming a specific treaty, when that treaty only represents an underlying reality.

Classism - the British elites hated the white lower class so much, they imported hoards of third-world workers as a fuck you to them and to prove how morally superior they were. This ruined any sense of shared history or cultural pride and now everyone is out for themselves.
