I feel as though this would only slow down the slow inevitable cultural death of the site, any influx of new users larger than some amount relative to the size of the normal userbase is going to change the culture significantly in a fairly short period of time. I think that this is noticed most when the influx of new users is rapid, i.e. 4chan pre and post 2016 US election season, but is present regardless. No man ever steps in the same river twice.

If i might offer my opinion as a giant new fag, religious nutjobs and purity freaks seem more of a problem than the hordes of skibidi zoomers registering here.
From my few hours roaming around, this site has a lot of people whom really like to act as judge, jury and executioner instead of just laughing and pointing, they go apeshit over every vice they encounter and go in instant sperg mode. For example in lolcow threads they go bonkers when a deathfat shoves their face full with goyslop, really? what did you expect from someone who has a thread here?. Or another example is that if you regard gaming as a real hobby, you get a sermon on why you need to go do something more productive like woodworking or whatever they percieve as a good way to spend their time.

I are a bit dissapoin son, i thought this site was the freakshow of the internet not the Mormon stormtrooper recruitment office.
